We spent a couple of days in Southern New Mexico last October. I love the state and I haven't even seen the northern part which is supposed to be even nicer. Las Cruces is a wonderful little city. Be sure to eat at La Posta, an awesome Mexican Restaurant.

He wasn't nominated for a cma. He did win a Grammy for album of the year. During the CMAs he busked outside. There is a great video of it.

He's done music for over ten years but went to prison for awhile for selling coke then he got out i think 5 yeqrs ago now and has been killin it in music and completely got his shit together now.
