I finally got my much-needed haul from Stylevana! I stocked up on my usual Hada Labo toner and sunscreen, and I got a couple of products from Beauty of Joseon that I have been curious about.

I can’t believe that was free! I’ve purchased their “popular” sunscreen several times! It’s very creamy but as an oily skin girl I wish that it was a bit lighter.

Yes, I was so proud of myself for getting that deal! I try to wait around for when their free item is something I actually want - it doesn't happen very often though. Tbh, you aren't missing too much if you have super oily skin like me. It has a nice serum like quality, but it still has a little greasiness. I can totally see someone with more normal or drier skin liking it though. My HG is still the Hada Labo White UV gel (with a layer of Supergoop unseen or the Elf dupe on top). I have heard the same thing about the BoJ popular sunscreen in the tube. I think it might be a bit heavier for really oily people like me. I still debate getting it every now and then though because there are so many rave reviews!

Was waiting for this video . Need to make an order on Stylevana and wanted to try the hada labo toner and gel . I presently use the Naturie ( Japanese)conditioner and milk , and I just bought The Decorté , lift dimension line ( also Japanese ) it’s super expensive but so so good at hydrating my skin ❤ then I also want to try the Kikumasamune line . Do you use any actives ? Thank you

I'm so happy the video was helpful 🥰IMO, it's hard to go wrong with Japanese skincare products, especially if you want lots of hydration. I think you'll love both of the Hada Labo products. The toner is probably the most hydrating skin care that I've come across (aside from SKII, but that one is just too expensive), and I love that the sunscreen is an all in one product (toner + light moisturizer + sunscreen). Let me know what you think of the Hada Labo products vs the Naturie! I've never used Decorte or Kikumasamune, but I've heard great things about both. Since my skin is so sensitive, I don't typically use what most people would refer to as actives. The main ingredients I go for are calming agents (e.g tranexamic acid), ferments (currently using the isntree bifida amouple), and low percentage "exfoliating" acids for resetting my skin's pH balance (don't have a favorite product here yet). These help hydrate my skin and keep it from over reacting to things. I tend to use ceramide heavy moisturizers to help with my skin barrier (mostly Cerave stuff). The only other "treatment" I use is the Strivectin moisturizer (which I got in PR but will purchase) since this seems to help my skin barrier in a way that nothing else does. I hope all your skincare works out for you 🙏 I know I've gone through a lot of trial and error (and still do)!
