This video is a review on my favorite nursing scrubs, the Grey's Anatomy Scrubs by Barco! I absolutely love these scrubs because they are so flattering and feminine, yet durable and comfortable. I have been wearing Grey's Anatomy scrubs for over ten years and they are, by far, my most favorite brand of scrubs I've tried. Bought my first pair the other day and was fell in love. Watching your video helped me make the decision to buy 4 more. Definitely want scrubs that are going to hold up and that are comfortable. Thank you!

I have to agree these are some of the best scrubs in the mid price range. If you take good care of them…washing in gentle and tumble dry low…they really do last.

I have all of these scrubs and I love them all!! The one thing about greys is they wash well! I got one 8yrs ago and the pants ripped so I replaced the pants the top and pants look the same in terms of no fade!

Ha that’s awesome the colors matched up even after 8 years! 😄 I believe it though, Greys scrubs seriously don’t fade!

I know this is a few years old but I tried on a bunch of scrubs today and liked GA best for material. BUT the scrubs were a little low rise 😢 I only tried on one pair though but wondered if you noticed this? I'm 5"8.

I got my first pair and I loved them! Especially the pants they weren’t baggy. I’m usually a small in scrub tops but this small fit so tight it fit like an xs🥲 so idk if medium or large would work..

I have worn Greys for yearssss. The materials are so soft. I like them better than the Figs. Figs to me are too rough on my skin. I bought 3 sets of Figs to try them out and I had to return them all.

Oh wow, this is such good feedback for me because I’ve debated getting some figs too, but yea the material just didn’t feel as soft and so I haven’t bought any yet. Thanks so much for sharing!

I would probably go up a size if you need booty room because that’s the area I would say they are more fitted.

Hmm I think it would be pretty close actually. Does your workplace require that color?

Yea it’s probably close enough. I’ve had to wear color coded scrubs twice at different hospitals and both times employees were wearing many different shades of the required color.

I would say they definitely run smaller and have a slimmer fit than other scrubs of the same size. If you want a looser fit I would size up. 👍🏻

Is it standard for nurses to have to buy their own scrubs over there? Also more important, what shoes do you wear? If there’s one thing a nurse knows, it’s what shoes are the most comfortable 😁

Yes, most nurses in the US buy their own scrubs. Sometimes the hospitals/healthcare facilities will give a scrub allowance to cover the cost but that's not very common. One of my nurse practitioner jobs provided me with scrubs but they weren't very good quality and were not comfortable, so I just use my own purchased scrubs. What country are you in? Haha yes, shoes are so important! I randomly found a pair of Earth Origins shoes a while ago and fell in love with them (even though I had never heard of the brand before). The popular Dankos were too heavy for me when I've tried them.

TheSunnyEdge I’m in the UK. I know the NHS has a lot of faults (mainly managers lol) but I’ve never heard of people having to buy their own uniforms. Be it scrubs, lab coats or even the reception staff. We are very similar countries but some things are very different. I know you guys have an amazing work ethic and very little holiday compared to us. You could do with more holiday time and we could do with more of your work ethic 😁 I worked for a short time as a chef in a care home and I very quickly learnt that if you want good shoes then pay attention to the nurses. Being in on your feet all that time must be hard. Given the current situation, anybody working in healthcare gets the upmost of respect. It’s a job I could never do.

jaynbob42 wow thanks for that explanation. It’s really interesting learning about how other countries function. I started as a nurse in Canada before coming to the US and they were some key differences there too (even though I still had to pay for my own scrubs there too 😆). I visited London, England about two years ago and it reminded me a lot of Canada actually. So do healthcare workers get to pick out their own styles/brands of scrubs in the UK or does everyone have to wear the same?

TheSunnyEdge As far as I know they can also buy their own scrubs but I think it may depend on where they work. I’m sure private and NHS will have different systems. Hopefully somebody who works in healthcare here can jump in and clarify how it works. I currently work as a grocery delivery driver for a large supermarket chain here. I spent so much time working inside that I needed to get out and about lol. It pays the bills and keeps me out of trouble. I live about an hours drive from the centre of London but I don’t visit it too often. I’m a country boy at heart and not a fan of the big towns. Once my son is a bit older I hope to start travelling again and Canada and the US are on my list as I’ve not been to either yet. Do you and the family have any plans once things calm down a bit, to travel anywhere?
