This is why Sub Zero is called Grandmaster.

Always liked Sub Zero. And love this kind of "it was all a test" scenes.

This is why Kuai Liang is the best, he never looses, always keeps his cool, and fights smart. He’s easily one of the best Kombatants in all of Mortal Kombat

For those of you wondering, no Jacqui couldn’t have landed those hits unless *Sub-Zero* wanted her to. It was part of a plan to wait for Jin or another team member to come after him, as you can see from Jin getting the, Hell - Maker Fists of Fury as soon as he got up.

You can see that throughout the video he's engaging them and trying to get them to think and then giving them advice. "You are surrounded. What will you do now?" "You are more like your parents than you think"

He is just like Lord Raiden, training and testing everyone. And also always calm.

The sub zero default look in MKX will forever be my favorite Sub of all time. Nothing tops that

The voice actor for Sub Zero is damn good.

You actually see Kuai Liang evolve as a character. MK9: Young, brash, wanting revenge for his brother MKX: Wise, cool headed, willing to make peace with Hanzo Hasashi rather than seek revenge MK11: Willing to fight with and avenge Hanzo Hasashi, fights for his entire clan rather than just his brother and a title, rather than ostracize Cyrax for being a cyborg, he's willing to take him back to the Lin Kuei cyborg or not.

Kuai Lang: **speaks wisely with grace** Bi-Han: “haha ice balls go kaboom”

Everyone: slicing each other with blades and using rocket launchers and stuff Sub zero: this was a training session

Knowing it's a training mission makes his dialogue after beating each of them take on a different meaning. He's teaching them something, not mocking them

I wish that we had more Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei scenes in Mortal Kombat.

The Best Sub Zero so far is still in MKX because Kuai Liang is unstoppable and looks so badass in this game!

Jin went on his own on this mission still asked for a plan... The other time he risked a war for a bread thief... Jin was the only immature of the group.

Kuai Liang is a worthy Grandmaster, far superior to the last one The old Grandmaster made deals with devils to get rid of his rivals, forced his warriors to become mindless and subservient machines, many against their own will, just to make them stronger Kuai Liang restored the Lin Kuei’s honour, made them worthy once again

And yet Kuai Liang was going easy on them. Imagine if he went all out

I love the design of Kuai Liang in _Mortal Kombat XL._ It looks so cool.

knew this was a test from beginning as he was expecting them and intentionally put down all defenses. in cinmatic he doesnt use his cryomancy except for dodging, meaning he was holding back the whole time

I realized this was a test the second Sub-Zero spoke and it was still awesome. I have to give Netherrealm credit, with few exceptions that really nail the look, style and voice acting of their characters. Every aspect works and in general, they all work together flawlessly.
