F0xy is always someone we love working with. His humor is incredible, his energy is contagious, and he is extremely talented with so many characters in MK11. Sub-Zero can be such a menace in MK11, and F0xy taught us a lot about using all of his tools to make him even more terrifying. Great video! One little thing: please always write down the dash/dash cancels in the combos inputs (for example, at 9:22, there is a dash before 2- 4 -KB), so everyone will know exactly how to practice the combo. Fortunately I figured out that dash in the combo due to Foxy's inputs.

I'm Sub- Zero Main since I was 5 yrs old. His moves still need more damage, he has to do extra to cause considerable damage.

100% not true. He's just like Fujin - has low damage but lots of resources and mix ups. The fact that you have to guess sub zero's low kick or overhead (cause it's fucking 19 frames), and both of them lead to the same combo is insane. Plus they are both used for resetting. He should be nerfed, not buffed. I'm talking about mk11. I agree if you're talking about mk9 and mkx.

Just learning Sub now. Connecting any string after standing 2 is a pain though. Standing 2 always punches the opponent too far for me to follow up. 😅 or my Rising Ice EX takes too long for me to land and follow up. I'll never pull this off online haha. Excellent tutorial tho. Thanks

This might seem strange, but I have trouble canceling (B1,4,3) into (BF3). Any advice on how to time the inputs to get this to land 100%?

Not sure if an update changed something but rising ice doesnt count as a hit towards the combo so the kb combo isnt possible anymore or atleast for me it isnt counting as a hit

What does S3 or S2 mean compared to regular 3 or 2? I cant get my opponent to stay in range to get the last 3 hits in with 4,3,BF3

Ok, so I've been practicing the combo at 8:36, but cannot do it consistently, because after I do enhanced rising ice and S2, sometimes I don't seem to catch them with B143, or simply dont manage to even hit them with the S2, could somebody give me a bit of advice? Mainly what is the best timing for the S2 B143, my input window is on medium if thats important

I just skip the s2 and go straight to b143, it’s been a month tho for u so you probably figured out the muscle memory for it alr

It's late but i think theres a dash before standing 2. I was doing to wrong for a long time and i decided to look at his inputs in slow mo and he inputs forward before standing 2

Sub in MK11 has a way more advantage online than offline, especially with his F2, since it is harder to react to based on the latency, especially if it is bad. He is not broken, just can be annoying in the wrong hands.

I watched Sikander for the first time other day on Kombat League. Sika’s Sub Zero corner work is as ferocious as the fight with Achilles Vs Hector outside the gates 🤦‍♂️

Stagger into F2,4 until they start blocking it, then to annoy them I do F2,Throw… the amount of recovery on F2 is more than enough to punish but for some reason they just don’t punish me for it… strange.

Thats because people expect something after, not a lot of subs just do f2 on block they usually do f2 slide or the full string

Disagree, I prefer creeping ice for corner pressure and frigid storm for zoning/counterzoning over amped ice ball.. But whatever works, some people crush KL with trap and polar axe lol

@@ScentSense nah he’s not much of a zoned more of a rushdown so you can mix them up with ice ball and then when you get closer wait for them to suck and amp it for free 200 smg combo.

Very nice video. Why does b143 after s2 whiff so often against Scorpion in the combo (b32, df1, j2, s3, db3 amp, s2, b143, slide). The timing seems really awkward.
