It's amazing how Subaru were so proud of their rallying heritage and now, they're so distanced from it.

I might get a new car in 2023 but the way the pricing has gone in the UK, I cant justify it. The only model I would be interested in is the Outback as its non hybrid, I had the previous model and it was everything I needed in a car. Sadly had to downsize for financial reasons.

I cant drive anything else. The boxer engine and AWD makes them the best cars on the road. Most are not fast these days but they don’t need to be. I have a 65 plate Impreza and it does everything I need. Solid, reliable, great handling, you feel confident driving in bad weather and the best thing is they are not a common sight on the roads. Its a shame their hybrid systems are a bit pointless as they give no better fuel economy with the extra weight. I think Subaru has lost its way by trying to keep up with everyone else. Too expensive now, not sure who they are aiming cars at.

I'd like the new Outback, I had the previous shape but I cant do that and buy somewhere to live at the same time unfortunately.

consider those cars are almost 20 yrs old, they are not exactly easy to find (the clean one) and owner has to agree to offer they car (usually declined due to concerning the car can be damaged). I think all the cars in the film, subaru probably own them.
