The Motul Files: Ep. 1
The Subaru World Rally Team was one of the greatest motorsports teams to ever compete in the WRC. However, all of their successes couldn't be done alone. They worked with a number of brands throughout their 19 year run at the top level of rallying, but one that stood out from the rest was Motul. Together, the two companies took home 2 world titles with two of the best drivers to ever compete in rallying.

The most hilarious part of all this is to hear Colin, someone who has been relentlessly pushing for weaker engines and eventual electrification of the sport, shill for an oil company.

Well idk if its some big PR stunt or not, but even when combustion engines disappear and electric cars become the norm they also need lubrication for diffs and what not.

It’s a great choice for it. That’s what Subaru uses as the factory oil in the S209.

The title us missleading, subaru, as much as they are/were synonimous with rally, never really "dominated" anything, they always had their match, there are teams with both more drivers and manufacturers titles. I think the main reason people think it was some kind of rally powerhouse has to do with people who do not really know anything about rally or it's history.
