1. Take the right side kick panel off. 2. Connect two plugs that are not connected. 3. Press the lock button twice on the key. 4. Remote reprogrammed. 5. Disconnect plugs again and refit kick panel. 6. Job done

I did this not long ago following another guide. Same sort of steps, but you press lock on the original remote, then lock on the new remote, unlock on the original then unlock on the new. Disconnect wires. That worked for me, but it's cool to know that you can start off with no programmed key at all!

Which aftermarket remote did you used? Have a 04 impreza and I'm trying to figure out which fob will work since I can't find the oem one which is the same in the video. And my car has the same wire to plug at the kick panel. Any help will be appreciated.

Thankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My 2nd key for my 2002 Outback stopped working, I tried a new battery, the open close door/ignition on/off a dozen times. I gave up for about 3 years, then I thought I'd try again. this worked perfectly! Thanks!!

I have Europe WRX 2001with the same key design and I am not able to find this connector. Another manual with switching ingnition on/of 10 times doesnt work as well

Nikolce Petrovski nothing, obe guy told me it is on A pillar and nothibg there as well.my aim is to remove all features from aftermarket alarm and keyfob and have a car stock,which includes oem key fob programmin.hope there is no problem in keyless module...

Thanks for this..I was threading a cable for my gps and noticed that the this cable was not together and I put it together and after that my remote didnt work
