Just ordered the yellow DD Elite for our '23 Forester. OEM fogs just weren't much help, if any at all. Can't wait to get these installed, we get a lot of fog here ... also love the look of the backlight. Should be no problem with the install, looks pretty easy. Thanks for the video!

Just curious how did you wire the backlight to the drl. I have a 22 ascent and I need to know what wire did you use to tap it. Pictures is well appreciated thanks.

Looks really good, for the same forester do I do 2 pin or 4 pin connector? I’m also looking to get the tail light blinkers/reverse bulbs, do I need the resistors for that?

The factory connection is 2 pin. The connection on the elite series is technically 3 pins but it comes with a small adapter harness and you can tap in the extra connection for the back light if you wish to do so. Resistors would be required for LED turn signal bulbs. Email us if you need help!

Where did you guys tap the backlight wiring for the forester? I have a subaru ascent and don't have idea what's the good place to tap it. Pictures is greatly appreciated.

Sorry do not recall which wire we tapped into. You will want to use a multi meter to see what has power when the low beams are on.

My 2022 forester sport came with the rectangle led fog light. What do I need in order to install these Diode Dynamics fog lights from the video?

Sorry I am not sure. I suppose it depends if the bezels are interchangeable.
