The microwave and vcr line wasn’t random at all, keep in mind this was the 90s so those were premier items back then, in one way or another he’s saying he has money but still isn’t rich, also the reason for keeping the gun in the trunk of his car was many cars from those times had lockable trunks, a cop couldn’t make you unlock your trunk for a search without a warrant.

You will still love Pawn Shop though. The whole album was the soundtrack of my 20th year on this Earth. I popped this in the computer CD tray and played the original Quake for an hour every morning on a Navy ship. Also 311. We had some Tupac playing as well. This is what he meant by roach. 1. In England, joints are rolled with tobacco to help them burn. The tobacco leaks tar, which can cover and burn the smoker's lips and fingers. A roach, in England, is a small piece of cardboard, often torn from the pack of rolling papers, which is rolled and placed into the mouthpiece of the joint. This makes it easier to hold and also makes it possible to smoke the entire joint without the aid of a roach clip. 2. In America, people tend not to smoke joints using tobacco, and what is called a roach in England is termed a filter in America. The roach is the end of the joint which cannot be smoked without a roach clip, because the smoker's fingers would be burnt. The roach contains the most resin and is stronger than the rest of the joint because THC smoke has passed through and settled on it with each inhalation. A roach is often saved and smoked in a joint made from other roaches, which is much stronger than a normal joint. 1. "Put the roach in, I won't smoke without it" 2. "Save the roach, we can smoke it with some others later on"
@Bocchi-the-Rock_
@Bocchi-the-Rock_ 4 жыл бұрын
Slicedbread This is correct, and to further clarify they refer to to a mix of tobacco and weed as a spliff, but I think he really meant roaches as in cockroaches. People forget weed is organic matter because we smoke it so often, but animals and insects will straight eat buds for sustenance. If you live in an area that has cockroaches and leave weed around in the open, more than likely you will eventually find a cockroach scuttling around in your weed. Other than that the only thing I can think of is getting a bag that actually has a roach in it as if you were getting ripped off, but that should be fairly obvious as soon as you get it, and actually as you stated, due to resin build up, would make the weed more potent, so I don't think it would actually be detrimental

I always took it for, someone rolled up and smoked his bud, but left him the roach in his bag. Maybe not.

What the fox hat is a roach clip? A paperclip wrapped around the roach? Why? You worried about stains on your fingers? Sounds disgusting making a joint from old dockers, the bit next to the roach, doob be full of tar. Always use a baccy block next to the roach anyway, though these days use a rolling baccy filter because of tar. It still works.
@Bocchi-the-Rock_
@Bocchi-the-Rock_ 4 жыл бұрын
Wulla Balloo It's a small alligator clip, you use them so you can smoke an entire joint without burning your fingers but also without using a filter, as using a filter is a waste. It's not a cigarette, the resin that filters build up will have a lot of active thc on it, therefore taking away from the high

Like the end of this long. Sublime is kind of a jam band with some songs. They’ll just let the song ride. Pawn shop is a smoke something and listen. It’s long, not much going on, but it’s chill. Garden grove is one of my favorite songs. I would recommend Jail House, or Get Ready next. Actually, I take it back. You NEED to do Jail House. It’s all about the Rude ones. He mentions it a lot. Lou dog was his last friend, also I think he meant Roaches as in the last bit of a joint, I might be too old school but this band is older than me. Since 🚔 happened still, no time to come up with crutches, just smoke a hand rolled and the last bit of paper/ weed always turned brown and looked a bit like 🪳. You could eat them and sometimes trip or save them for rainy days when the town is dry.

Bro. LOL. The last bit of a joint after you've smoked it is called a roach. I've always interpreted this as buying weed from someone who smoked some of it and just tossed the roach in the bag. Maybe it's just an old hippy thing I got from my parents, but those metal clips people use to hold the joint when it gets too small is called a 'roach clip'.
