I have an ‘07 Escalade and don’t think this approach is the best to lift this Escalade. I used a 2” spacer on the rear coil and rear shock, and a bottom mount 2” spacer (rough country, made for an ‘07 suburban) on the front. This allows the front suspension wires to reach which keeps you from throwing codes. I kept the airbag concept in place by replacing all blown stock shocks with Arnott and and an Arnott air compressor (all w/ lifetime warranty from O’Reilly). For the wheels I bought take-offs from a 2021 AT4 that come stock with 275/65r18 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. They look awesome! The oil overheating issue (and subsequent stalling at idle) that is brought up elsewhere in the comments is resolved by installing a Champion 3-row desert cooler radiator and then adding oil cooler lines (ACDelco 20828695). These solutions were very difficult to come up with on my own because they are solutions that are designed for Suburbans and Yukons and were individually figured out to work for Escalade (by yours truly). @@AlanTrades the *level* sensors still seem to function fine. Since I used 2” front and rear lift, it’s still equal. They are leveling sensors, so just think of them as not wanting the rear to sag in relation to the front.

While I like what you’re doing with your channel and business, I just wish you had more options in terms of Suspension. Would like to see more suburban with a lift kit or a SA swap.

I got a 99 escalade 4wd. Installed a leveling kit, pro comp 51 wheels and faulken a/t tires. Thule Cargo carrier on top next to a kayak and a NAPA awning. I put a Motorcycle carrier in the hitch receiver and take my Harley with me. Life in a can. Love it.

I have the same rig and it kept throwing a code for its vvt I found that adding thicker oil solves the ruff idle die at stoplights and the code.

Try cleaning your intake around where the butterfly opens. With the engine off, prop the butterfly open with a plastic stick( broken coat hanger) spray carb cleaner all over inside and outside and wipe off dirt and residue

179k is where my 6.2 took a shit. Lifters, oil pump, and TCM all went out with in 100 miles of each other.

Do you have any plans to mess with the active fuel management on the 07+ generations? I've read of other people disabling it.

Fun Fact. The 07 Escalade did not have the Active fuel management system. Making it much more fun and reliable.

what's the ride quality like? and parts cost? I have an 08 ESV and the rear suspension is shot so I'm looking at options. not sure if I want a lift but I know they do coilovers for stock height as well.

I have the same truck also. The air pump runs constantly. Want to overland it with a moderate lift and new shoes along with other toys... So any ways, just looking and learning. RoughCountry lift??

It came from the factory with the G80 gov lok. Differentials on AWD GM rigs are the same as the ones found in the hi lo range vehicles. Parts are interchangeable.
