If you're starting a business, a Financial Model is a critical tool to estimate the potential of your company. How much do you plan to charge for your product? I originally did not think I would like these videos because I was expecting some weird social slant on business. I admit I was wrong. All these videos have been very interesting and very direct and honest presentations of business topics. So I guess the last thing for me to do is subscribe - done!

Love the videos! When you talk about business models where would something like Uber or Amazon? They are both somewhere between 1 and 2 it seems but not subscription and not quite model 2.

Seems like there may be a slight flaw, not so much in the logic, but in the real world impact to your business when it comes to your LTV realization when you use your annual model with a low churn rate. For example, at 22:14 in the video you show a 13.5 LTV to CAC ratio, but it would take you 20 years to realize that return, I don't know how realistic that is, especially in the world of SaaS. Not to mention the impact of the CAC would be capitalized in year one while the return on that investment would be 20 years out. Now that is a 14% return on your investment, but 20 years of risk when it comes to losing that customer, competition etc. - Anyway, food for thought, but love your videos and a fantastic tool for people getting started.

I WANT TO BUY the $79 TEMPLATE... But is it pre-populated exactly like this one here? The metrics, key indicators and projections? I just need to play around with assumptions right?... Under Revenue for example, does it come with the variables under organic, inbound, outbound? CAC, LTV calculation formula etc?

What if your subscription plans are priced differently? How do we project that in the FM? Is this a feature that can be customizable in the file? I am 85% convince of buying the SaaS FM and only worry about the complexity of my pricing model.

Normally, each brand would require a single financial model. Then, they are consolidated in a single (holding company) sheet.
