Yeah, you definitely can. As long as you export/import the presets as Arnold, it will work just as well.

Very nice tutorial, thank you. I've been using Maya for several years but new to Vray and I was needing this. Are you using the default color management settings in Maya? Because everytime I render it comes out with a warning, I think, but not sure, that it does not affect the final render but would be nice to know.

Thank you, glad you found the tutorial helpful! Yeah, I left color management settings default in this tutorial, only modifying the Colorspace of the Raw textures (metallic, roughness, normal). Even with the warning, Maya/V-Ray will render using the default Color Mapping settings of Reinhard.

u r so great man no one explains detailed about from substance to vray . i have one question how to add emmesive and sss in substance maya ? it would be very helpful if u tell me .

For emissive, you want to connect it to the Self Illumination slot, I cover that here: 14:38​ Modify Emissive Value in V-Ray SSS in Substance to Maya is a bit of a modified workflow, so I will look into making a video for that!

Normally you need the Displacement Node to be able to display the heights in Vray. Or have I understood it wrong? Great video keep up the good work.

That's correct, you could also use a standard method of using a V-Ray Displacement Node (along with Displacement Quality/Control V-Ray Extra Attributes). Both methods would work!

Can u show that pls in 3ds max, i get crazy cause i dont know how to setup few simpel texures from Substance Painter.........

The overall same workflow applies, just make sure to set the colorspace correctly on the maps. I'll add 3ds Max to my list!

This works obviously for great programs like 3dcoat that have perpetual licenses and offer more than Adobe locked down SP.

Seens this plugin doenst work with UDIMs right? Could not make the Substance Apply Workflow work here with multiple UDIMs

Correct, last I checked, it doesn't have support for UDIM so you would have to do it manually. You could still use the plugin to import the nodes and then connect them to a UDIM supported node.
