Would have loved to see the grills getting covered. Looks very clean without going overboard. I think finding the right amount of customization is the key to a great stereo build.

Mark, love the detail of this build but here's a challenge. Complete a stealth build with 1-2 amps BUT only using basic tools like a hand router, jigsaw & table saw & none of your fancy router bits & jigs. Basically like the rest of us mortals have in our tool kit. Maybe you could give tips on the difficulties you come up against that would benefit most people wanting to learn.

I've done several budget build videos, everyone says its what they want but when it comes to actually clicking and watching those, no one does. Everyone wants to see the best.

CarAudioFabrication I haven’t seen you do this yet - I recently started working on taking apart an old 5.1 1k W hifi system that’s still runs smooth and outputs too quality audio. I used this build as a guide for a base design and it’s starting to come together. See for me I have a new car with all the bells and whistles and wanted something separate for just music and my god as it was an old spare system I owned it only costed me the wood, vinyl and time. I would really love to see something like this as. I one has yet!

300th like 😉, I know, ima boss. Lol beautiful work as always. You really do the kind of work someone can’t even hate on, just have to appreciate the skill and artistry. The attention to detail really sets you apart imo. That, and the unorthodox solutions to the various problems you encounter with such projects. Long winded way to just say ‘hey man, you kick ass.’ Crutchfield is by far my favorite car audio solution for everything. Their faqs and build vlogs are all perfect and succinct. Pay a little extra but they send all the adapters and info you need for your install. Great company. Great KZfaqr. Great combination.

Man that box came out very nice! You know, if you decide you want to be able to hide the sub down the road, you could very easily make a panel that press fit into that recess just covered in grill cloth that would give you a nice hidden sub for those days you're maybe parking the Jeep somewhere you are worried about.

Very beautiful Mark. My mother use to own a upholster shop. She's done many front cover magazine furniture items for some very high end customers. It destroyed her hands though. Tug and pull tug and pull. Right now I'm struggling with where to build my subwoofer box. In bed them into the rear seat or ugh.

What do you think about capacitors for powering subwoofer amplifier? I have a 180 W rms amp 300 W max Fushion EN-AM3002 on a Dacia Logan and it does sound bad on some heavy bass music at high volume. The lights are not flickering so I think a capacitor would help, but i never saw a capacitor for powering amps in your builds so i want your opinion about them. Maybe my wires to the amplifier are not handling the power but I kinda doubt that because also the sound in the other speakers that are connected directly to the car media player does sound bad when the subwoofer is turned on and the music is playing at high volume.

So appears like theres one dude that doesn't like this video. I wonder who that is? Anyways a project like this one is way to costly for most people. 10k is just really worth it for someone to do this for a jeep. But for the sake of inspiration, you give a novice guy like me the incentive to try something advanced. Your videos have given me so many tips. So I'm going to build a stealth floor subwoofer system in a 2005 rav4. This particular generation of rav4 has a very tricky cargo shape. So I'll going to try to use stacking techniques your videos have taught me. Thanks for such high quality builds and for showing us excellent products to use in our builds.

I wish you lived near me so I could hire you to build a custom box for my 93 S10 single cab if you would. Lol but your videos have helped me learn way more than i did already about how to make space work to my advatage and how to tune etc. And I'm doing custom kick panels.
