suckling pig recipe ...
pre heat oven to 150C/300F . cook the pig 1,5-3 hours (if you have 200 pounder 4h).or/and until the internal temp reaches to 65c/150f.
take out the aluminium protection .and rise the temp to 200C/400F
until you have the desired crunchiness on the skin (flick on the skin with your finger to check the doneness ,it should sound like a hollow box)
rest for 30 min before serving ....
ingredients
-sea salt (hand full)
-a suckling pig max weight 20 pounds/9kg
-fresh rosemary 2-3 sticks
-bay leaves 4-5 piece
-dried sage 2-3 pinch
-nut oil( 1 cup )

I'm glad to see there are no more Vegan trolls here and in most of whole animal meat videos. Back in 2012 I stopped watching whole meat cooking videos because the Vegan commenters were notorious and they bullied everyone from the uploader to the pro meat commenters.

The process used to smote said suckling pig reminds me of Anton Chigurh in No country for Old Men. I want to do a suckling pig soon but not that young. I served a suckling pig at a place I worked, it was about 60 pounds. I didn't score the skin but made small nips in it so I could inject it with garlic slow cooked in apple juice with a touch of cinnamon then run through a sieve. I let my prep cook take it out to a full dining room since I allowed him to do most of the work. Good video over all, not easy finding the great ones!

Imagine if a little pig like this, ALIVE, would get this kind of love??? Massage and spa treatment? It's horrible that we have to eat meat. But we need it to live. Just look at every single vegetarian and vegan they look sick, pale, cold, always tired etc. I would want to taste this pig. It looks so delicious!!

You eat all the meat in the world but please do not such misinformation. Vegetarians are healthy and happy. I am vegetarian and I come from a vegetarian family. All my family members had almost no health concerns. They lived 80 or more. My maternal and paternal grandfather were into wrestling as well. Also, USA with its high red meat consumption tops obesity chart as well as the cancer score.

Second of all, this is a video about suckling pig recipe. Suckling pig is not red meat. Third of all, the US is not the top in terms of red meat consumption per capita. Fourth of all, the US is also not the top in terms of obesity rate.

Hi, your cooking instructions are wrong. A 200 pounder wont fit in an oven and won't cook in 4 hours. I'm guessing you ment a 20 pounder. Just trying to help. By the way I have herds of pigs and I prepare piglets for people to roast like this

How long is the second roasting in the oven at 200 C? 1 hour or so?

How old is a 9 kg pig? Do you ask the butcher to take out and discard the insides? Thank you.

Actually no exact time ( start checking after 20-30min . Shouldnt exceed an hour though…! The look and the sound of the flick with a finger nail says the best..👍💕

It will also fit the min. Portion one :}. I is 2-3 kg . The hard part is to find the suckling pig
