Aunty Fatiema i told my daughter that if i and her grandmother ever passes before she has been able to take heed of all our cooking skills she must find you and subcribe as it will be the closest thing to our old waay of cooking. All these delicious meals that we grew up on from district 6. Unfortunately the modern generation seems to have missed all these lovely dishes and i fear may be lost. Not sure if still the case, but the half white beans weren't available in all parts of the country..could only find the red speckled ones. Shukran Fatima for your easy, uncomplicated home cooking. Hi how you doing . Yes I make sugar beans but I do ,I soak the sugar beans for about 1 hour with some bi carb on soda with boiling water Tjen I boiling it for about half hour then dispose of that water . I add fresh lot of boiled water and add a little baking powder ..The BP makes it cook soft quickly . I suffer with gastric ulcers so I add hing when I am braising my beans mixture. I hope it helps 🙏 🙂

Appi fathimah. You add alot of masala. Or red curry powder. I feel your food mite be very hot. At my home i use 2 teaspoon only for 1kg meat. I tried your masala steak sandwich today. It was delish 😊😋
