I mean, if u work hard for your money, I dun see a reason why u can't buy it. Maybe cause of the field I work, I often see female engineers with Burberry or lowe bags. Sometimes when u are 40+ and earning 8k-10k/month, 4k for a bag that can last 10 years isn't that outrageous. Esp when u see male engineers pay $2k/month to upkeep a Porsche.

Can 100% relate to Suisei's "I have the money, but I am not spending it like that". Growing up poor and then landing an incredibly well paying Job, I realized pretty soon that you really need to pay attention to what you are doing with your money, because believe me, the thought "eh I can afford it now, who cares if it costs 200-300€?" has found its way into my head more than once. Best way to keep track of your finances while also not depriving yourself from some fun would be to have a set allowance each month.

I remember once going to a store that had this massage board thing that was on promotion for like the equivalent of around 15-20 USD, a few months later I went back trying to buy one as a gift and it jumped up to about 500ish USD, I was like "how the hell was it so much more expensive?!", turns out the 15-20 was a monthly payment deal price.
