if ure willing to endure being slightly uncomfortable you could put a couple blankets over yourself and the mic when u record to help voice isolation. Or you can do a Matpat and record in your closet if you have one lol.

I know... And I hate it - which is why I made the channel and started making videos too. Don't even get me started on the Skull and Bones - Ubisoft's newest QUADRUPLE A title. LOL

@@b0rk125 I play games since ‘92. I do not like a lot of things going on in the industry. Yet, gaming is still my main entertainment. I just try to focus on games I like, or go to my backlog and try smaller or bigger games released years ago I bought on sale but never finished or never played. Recently due to unfortunate turn of events I do not have access to my consoles or a TV. But I have Steam Deck - I played a cozy game named LEGO Builder’s Journey. Now I dig up Batman Arkham Origins which got worse reviews than Rocksteady trilogy, and I like it, sure there are some issues but overall it is not a bad game (and I bet better than SSKTJL).

There's a term in marketing "It's easier to retain existing customers than it is to get new ones". Rocksteady gave me a proper demonstration of that meaning with this suicide squad game. They lost a good chunk of their old fanbase in an attempt to get new ones the outcome has been spectacular to watch. You'll be happy to find out that this is mostly on Rocksteady from the very beginning for once I can't blame WB entirely.

No you're absolutely right! As someone who has a background in marketing (unfortunately), that's the thing that many execs and senior leaders tend to miss. Which leads to situations like this happening, where rocksteady basically alienated their own customer base overnight.

I have a theory with no evidence other than Rocksteady were working on a Superman game in the Arkhamverse around the time of Arkham Knight’s release and presented it to WB and was quickly shot down. So, my theory is WHAT IF the template for the Superman game such as Metropolis and environmental features were used instead for SSKTJL? That is just some degrading shit. Also take note the last of Rocksteady’s dev’s from the Arkham trilogy left around the time of Arkham Knight release.

I mean they did delay it, meaning they had to work on it more so it took them more time and money, and not sure if a quick greedy one would take a lot of time on it

Hey thanks for the comment! I get what you mean, I think greed is at least PARTIALLY to blame, but the root cause really lies in the misguided development philosophy and essentially undoing the work of the Rocksteady that came before them. Profits be damned, perhaps, but it won't change the fact that the game will likely be a financial flop and the studio will be forced to take drastic measures to cope with the financial stresses. In my humble opinion, at least.

Review copies went out the day the servers were turned on and they said no to ign because of that bad preview they release complaining that The Flash was too fast for them to shoot and to keep up with then complaining about their momentum getting ruined by them running into things you aint supposed to run into

Yep! You can tell what the new dev team really cared about when they made this game! The DC universe is full of unique, amazing characters! And they could have used as many as they wanted for this game, and gave them several different abilities each! But no! They give everyone guns! Including characters that DON'T use guns!
