🌟 DESCRIPTION🌟
Throughout the course of the story, the Suicide Squad also interacts with other characters, including Diana Prince / Wonder Woman the only member of the Justice League not under Brainiac's control; Rick Flag, an A.R.G.U.S. operative working for Waller; Lex Luthor a megalomaniacal billionaire and Superman's arch-nemesis; and Edward Nigma / The Riddler a supervillain who challenges the Squad with completing various puzzles across the city. Supporting Squad members include Oswald Cobblepot / The Penguin a Gotham City crime lord and weapons dealer who supplies the Squad with anti-metahuman weaponry; Mikron O'Jeneus / Gizmo, a vehicle expert who develops various means of transportation for the Squad; Hack, a technomancer who monitors the Squad's neck bombs and provides them upgrades; Hiro Okamura / The Toyman, a mechanical genius who idolizes the Justice League; and Ivy a reincarnated version of Pamela Isley / Poison Ivy who died during the events of Arkham Knight, with no memories of her past life. Four additional playable Squad members are set to be introduced during the game's post-launch seasons, including the Joker, an alternate reality version of Batman's arch-nemesis who died at the end of Batman: Arkham City (2011)

Imagine building up the Arkhamverse across 3 games, having one of the best Batman portrayals in history, a genre defining combat system that is still copied to this day, and then flushing all of that down the drain with a bullet to the head and fanfic level writing. I had this theory, it would've been perfect if it turns out at the end of the game, Brainiac has been abducting the villains of Earth and running possible shared mind scenarios on how to conquer Earth. You see the Suicide Squad kill the Justice League, and the simulation ends when the Squad actually succeeds in killing Brainiac. The Villians awake on his ship, and start to remember how they were abducted. The game ends with the actual Justice League coming to Brainiac's ship and releasing the Villians of Earth to give them a chance to rehabilitate, while the League tries to stop Brainiac. It then falls down to the Squad either they run back to Earth, or choose to stay and help stop Brainiac. If they choose to run, it shows the Squad board an escape pod, and head back to Earth, while Brainiac's ship explodes with Brainiac and the League aboard, the Squad then wakes back up and sees they're still captured. If you stay and fight with the League you all successfully stop Brainiac's Invasion, and head back to Earth, with the Squad and the League coming to a truce for now, the League points out the Squad could've ran so there is still hope for them, while the Squad assures them they're still bad. The post credit scene would've been in a villa in Italy, it shows an answering machine and you hear Dick, Barbara, Tim, Jason, Alfred, Clark and Diana, wishing Bruce and Selena congratulations on tying the knot and hoping they enjoy there new life in Italy. While it shows pictures of Bruce and Selena's new life together, Bruce finally gets his happy ending.

the game is called suicide squad KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE, not suicide squad help the justice league stop brainiac. this would’ve been a slap in the face for fans who actually wanted to play as the suicide squad and get the suicide squad’s happy ending, that’s the point of the game. for fans who expected anything else, it’s no wonder you’d be disappointed with the end product. This is the problem with live service games like this, they either turn out great or just flat out disappointing, really wish they gave the characters a more honorable send off, I don’t know if they’ll bring them all back for future content but if that’s the case, it’s probably gonna be the multiverse bs, either way pretty disappointed but still had fun playing, just the ending and the characters death was a let down.

About a year ago, there was a "leak" that provided an alternate story for this game. It was weird, probably fake, and even included the Flash pulling a Flashpoint at the end, but it sounded more interesting than the actual story that ended up here.

The frickin’ Avengers game, a shitty live service one, had a better end fight and ending then this turkey. While the tribute to Kevin at the end was nice, why did the idiots thought having Batman died in such a pathetic manner is a great idea?! I mean this is THE Batman from the Arkham series. Not to mention Robin’s death killed off screen (and presumably the same for others) is also pathetic. ALL this time we invested them since Arkham Asylum up to Knight, and this is the best they can do? Having Batman and even the Justice League die like a pathetic jobberhead henchmen? Nah, this is disrespectful for the late voice actor and disrespectful for the Arkham Batman character and a F you to the fans of the Arkham series. Screw Rocksteady and screw Warner Bros.. This edgy shit is stupid. Batman Beyond cartoon, a PG rated cartoon, has a better edge tone than this trash. And even Mr. Freeze’s death was far better and respectful than this. Or better yet: Gotham Knights (game, not that abomination TV show) Batman’s death was so much better and reasonable than Arkham’s Batman punk ass death. End rant. Why not have suicide squad kill the justice league but the twist is the league is captured and brainiac is actually using the crime syndicate to take over dimensions if there already doing multiversal stories anyways

How i would have ploted the story Yes have justice league taken control over by brainiac except batman who has been offline since the events of Arkham knight.. Batman decides to come out of the shadows and help amanda waller and the team to defeat corrupted Justice league using his info he has in each member ... Create an emotional event where Batman neutralize his best friend superman in the attempt he sacrifices himself giving suicide squad a fighting chance with superman.

How better would this be if it was a JL game and they fought evil variants of themselves and then for the brainiac fight it’s a amped different version of each member vs themselves then a final fight with his own move set would have been way better

Bro atp idek wat to expect from this game. Some people are saying the hero’s that we kill in the game are clones and the real hero’s are trapped somewhere. I hope it’s true. But if it’s not then I’m definitely not buying this game. Cuz this is our first time getting a physical appearance of Superman ,wonder man ,flash ,green lantern, etc. I was expecting them to snap out of brainiacs control and defeat him instead. But no they actually die. The most pointless death imo was Arkham Batman. We’ve played as him for years and we gotta witness the bullshit of an end🤦🏽‍♂️

They’re not dead for good elseworld stories set as episodes will be coming each elseworld will be character specific other members of the league won’t be there just the character and supporting cast I’m assuming you go in kill the brainiac holding them there and set them free from the dream state we’ll have to see when the first one launches in march

What sucks about this game being live service is how things are "ended". Spoiler alert but leaked files suggest a flashpoint. So there's probably going to be room for more arkham (and probably deadpool 2 esque timeline fixing) but that would have been better if it was included in the game at launch rather than as a live-service update.
