To make a confession, I've always thought Suisei was one of Hololive's most favored Vtubers for a long time. Cause she DID have that whole Hoshimatic project. In my mind, she's not just one of Holo's veterans but also one of their favorites. So when I saw Depressed Nousagi's video about her, I didn't expect all the hardships she went through. I'm glad she was able to stay as "Suisei" even though the management originally tried to convince her to redebut. And I'm freaking glad that A-chan was there. D**n, I even found out she used to strain herself by making her voice sound "cuter" back then. No wonder I've always been curious why her older clips has her making a different voice. She really went through a lot.

Subbed to her just below 100k, rooted for her and thought she was gonna go underappreciated compared to the other vtuber giants at the time. Boy, I don't think there was a way to see her whole career coming. She blew up to such massive proportions.

Same I actually found her around october of 2019 because her song "Tenkyuu, Suisei Wa Yoru Wo Mataide" got reccomended to be by youtube because I had always listened to a lot of utaites but It wasn't until early 2020 when I actually subscribed to her because it was then that I started getting hololive clips. It was also around that time 2019 that I first watched a hololive stream while doing homework for world history class, it was Haato playing DDLC too bad I can't find them anymore because I think those streams were deleted during the whole copyright incident when a bunch of talents' vods got wiped including suisei's cover of angelfish.

Comissioning a video would have been flashy and exciting, sure, but...I think Hoshiyomi realize how "handmade" is a major part of her history, and while I can't speak for us all, I appreciate and smile at a simple video more knowing that she made it for us with her heart brimming.

Suisei's success story is still one of the best 'rags to riches' I've ever seen. From an inconspicuous rock floating in space, to becoming a brilliant comet shining upon us. A diamond in the rough, but ever becoming more of a true star, a polished diamond, as the days pass. Definitely looking forward to whatever more she has to offer for her fans and the vtuber community.

I discovered her at 300K, and i regret not knowing her from her independant days. But honestly she hit the 800K and did a great singing stream back then that i still listen to. I think it's also around that time she did a live concert for her 500K ?

Since late last year, i have always been rooting for her- my schedule may not allow me to tune into her streams, but i am almost, listening to her songs all the time, even in the gym. Hoping she goes to greater heights.. and the world knows her wonderful voice and determined personality!

Watching Suisei grow over the last 3 years, has been a wild ride. Her origin of fighting to be accepted, to her shining through and being now a go to face for Hololive, her music deals, concerts, you cannot help but be happy for her.

I met her thanks to her Tales of Arise playthrough (huge Tales fan myself) and her karaoke streams, I subbed to her after finding her funny, cute (today as well!!!!) and talented!... but after learning her story and how she really struggled to reach this point and how she kept going and not giving up... My "simping a cute anime girl" turned into genuine admiration for her talent and dedication! Keep on shining pretty comet!! I'm... late as a Hoshiyomi (just earlier this year actually...) but I believe my love (NOT romantic love, I'm not a gachikoi... let's get that straight...) for Suichan doesn't lose to anyone. I believe in Suichan's potential, she will always be the briliant comet in my heart and I have no doubt that she will shine even brighter from now on too.

It may sound painfully ironic, but if it wasn't for Rushia's clips I wouldn't had known about all the other Hololive members. It was a Rushia clip that I saw during 2018 (a few weeks before Holo EN's debut iirc) that started my deep dive into the Vtuber rabbit hole. Back then, I also saw some Suisei clips but I never really knew the story behind her journey. I thought she had always been Holo's most popular Vtubers cause, they even allowed her to do the Hoshimatic project. So when I saw depressed nousagi's video about her, I didn't expect all of the stuff she went through. I'm glad that she was able to continue as "Suisei", even though the management originally planned a redebut. And I sure am glad A-chan was there. Now, my oshis had been Fauna and Suisei for a while. So it IS ironic but my Vtuber journey started w/ Holo's problematic menhera.

Man...i remember when the hololive main channel used to post monthly member's subs count community posts....fresh in my memory that around the time the scatman cover blew up (late 2018 i think/?) fubuki and sora were leading with 300-400k, matsuri at 200 i believe etc etc...then there is suisesi at 30k. I remember there were like bunch of comments in that one post that went "come on guys let's support suisei!" and so on so she could catch up with the others. Now look at her go man, truly inspiring and emotional....

thanks for clipping so fast! i always appreciate your clips! hope you can get some rest now words cannot express how proud i am of her. she’s worked so hard - from being an indie building her model from scratch, from being in innk, and now being in hololive doing what she loves with job request after job request coming after her. i can’t wait to see how much more she’ll be shining in the future all i can really say is i’m glad she never gave up and i’m glad i got to live in a timeline where i could see her chase after her dreams
