There's just something about Watame that attracts these kind of wholesome superchats. My all time favorite is when Watame was reading a superchat of a father with the words of his 5 year old daughter and Watame trying to interact with that little girl. My second favorite would be that bittersweet superchat about a person with terrible short term memory and how they said that Watame's merch would serve as a memory capsule for them. I love the different clips of holomembers being funny and having fun, but what really made me stay in this rabbit hole are these wholesome moments.
@nyannyan4432 жыл бұрын
Same. At first I got drawn by the memes and funny clips, but I got hooked in by their wholesomeness as I got to know them. Watame just has this comforting and pleasant aura around her. She bares her heart on her wrist and it just makes her feel more genuine and someone that you can confide in too. This makes me remember that one comment someone had on that Subaru and Sora clip where they talk about the difference between their chats/comments and how they kinda reflect the streamer.

While not at that degree i also was saved by Hololive, after losing my job and career because of a stupid mistake i was deep in dark thoughts, depressed and anxious at nights i would watch videos in bed until falling sleep to prevent the bad thoughts (first time in my life, usually i always slept without my phone in bed) until some clips got recommended; It was not much but it kept my mind busy and helped me through. I was in the similar situation last year. Thanks to the pandemic I was forced to resign from my job. Job hunting in the middle of pandemic is 100x worse than in the normal situation and I had a fight with my parents. Coupled with the quarantine, my mental health deteriorated and I suffer severe anxiety. But then I found Hololive clip (Kanatan's in my case) and then suddenly lots of clips were recommended. From there on, I was always happy watching Hololive and their clips and I was able to sort out myself again. Those girls do bring happiness and I was forever grateful. Honestly, the mental damage back then was so severe that I still have an episode, but knowing that I still have my hololive girls to make me smile really alleviate the stress.

I'm glad she is so warm, and I've said it once but I'll say it again, I hoped that while she cares about people she doesn't overburden herself with these harrowing stories and project too hard or stress herself out by trying too hard to please. But I seem to have worried for nothing, as she seemed to be able to see how wide the world is, and how people can be in a dark place as she was, but can pick themselves up with support on day. That is why I can't really ever give up on humanity, when I see so many reminders of people like Watame that seem to care genuinely that people in pain can make it through that dark patch.

I've been single and quite alone for 9 years now, due to having my social anxiety, anxiety and depression get worse after a breakup and I'm very thankful for finding Hololive.. I'm at the age where I suppose a man would often have a family and children and Hololive has given me so much joy in a similar way watching kids would. Cuteness, energy, humor, entertainment, to distract me from negative and bitter feelings. I'm so happy that after finding a few clips and liking em, HoloEN happened that really made me involved. Especially as my therapy had gotten me in a much better place right before Covid and then all group therapies etc. were cancelled, sending me into quite possibly the worst time of my life, due to the frustration of there being another setback and increase in my secluded anxiety fueled "lifestyle". As "sad" as it is to still be alone (and realizing these entertainers aren't my actual social relationships) I genuinely think that these girls at least make me FEEL a whole lot less lonely and miserable, remembering there are things to smile about. For anyone going through similar things, never be ashamed of enjoying what makes you smile. Whatever you find in life that can make you enjoy your time is truely valuable.

Vtubers are quite literally the reason I'm going to Japan for undergrad next year, and that fact will never cease to blow me the fuck away. The ability of Vtubers to connect such compassionate multinational communities is something you can't find anywhere else on the internet. Whether Watame realizes it or not just by being here she's helped more people than she could imagine. She's absolutely right, everyone has their own struggles and to act like we can understand or even acknowledge all of them is naïve, but bringing all those people together truly makes all of our lives a bit better. And it might even pull some people out of the depths of depression to learn a language and go to school in a foreign country... just saying

I'm so glad that this community is mostly just warm and kind to eachother and the streamers we all love. I've never seen the actual fans bicker or insult any of the girls (beyond playful teasing occasionally ofc) or comparing them to each other or anything like that. Even if we all have a "favorite" I think it's safe to say we each appreciate all of them for who they are. I'm glad that hololive is able to give us all that heartful feeling we need sometimes.

A lot of people were saved by hololive I was once depressed because of stress from my family and school and i cant think of anything i can do for like its like ive lost all hope until i found gura on my reccomends after that i learned about hololive en and i fell deeper to meet hololive jp and id. It saved me a lot it made me more motivated for things i need to do but like that dude said that one day they will just dissapear like popping a bubble, it also made me scared that what if that hapened it will make a lot of people sad too, but after coco's graduation stream i learned that they wont dissapear without saying goodbye. I want to thank yagoo for the idol group he created. :D

Truly a nakimusheep. Its not all fun and games for hololive and the viewers. People mean it when they say they get through with hololive or whatever form of entertainment it is. The fun thing about Watamates and other fanbases is that everyone is one big family and look out for each other.

I think it's great that Watame said that everyone has their own worries. Because to me, while not having experienced something like losing my parents in a car accident and also being in a very dark place in my mind makes me feel even more guilty and anxious knowing other people have it off worse.
@Harkz0r2 жыл бұрын
I used to give myself a hard time over things like that, but I ultimately realised it doesn't serve any helpful purpose. Simply knowing that other people have gone through far worse doesn't make your own struggles seem any less real to you. At least that's how it is for me. Perspective can be encouraging, but also demotivating. At the end of the day, nobody can truly know what someone else is going through. We just owe it to ourselves to keep on doing the best we can.

I don't know if they realize it but their streams have saved and comforted lots of people. I personally felt my stress gone when I watched Subaru, Pekora, Miko, and NANORAAA. Watame is also awesome, all of them are. So, Thank you hololive. Arigatou YAGOO.

I too was lost for a while after my mom passed away, and being stuck because of covid with my mentally abusive dad. I was too scared to go back to gaming since that just make me more lonely and depressed. Hololive gave me a little smile and I keep watching them even though my japanese is bad. Although I know nothing lasts forever, but for now, this is my rope that i'm hanging on.

Well I don't have any sad story to tell, Hololive rescued me from, but it sure made me happier in generell and also this Idol stuff, people you look up to, we don't really have that in my country, but I started to really respect the Holomem's for their accomplishments and want to kinda be like them some day
