Engineers and developers at suitX, the robotics company launched from University of California, Berkeley’s Human Engineering Lab, are providing people with mobility disorders the chance to be upright and mobile. I've looked all over for these "affordable" exo suits, yet you can't find anywhere. I'm a veteran & NO WAY can afford $30,000 for these. That's ridiculous, I'll just build my own.

I feel for you! Thanks for your service. I wish our government would provide this to you for free. Although not cheap, this is half the price of other designs. My dad needs this, too. He recently fell and hasn't been able to walk without a caregiver's assistance. The key is having insurance companies cover most of the costs but there might be a fight by the caregiver services taking a hit.

$30k is enough money to buy an electric car. So in terms of hardware cost, this exoskeleton should cost less than $3k. The rest is software and research cost, which can be free and potentially better if people collaborate on open source software (potentially better because compared to the paid programmers, full time users and their friends will be much more dedicated to improving the software).

This uses robotic servos to make it so it is less strenuous on the user to move about, thus I imagine it could help you. I honestly want to get one for my shoulder because I have a issue where my arm loses feeling and use, kind of like paralysis. From everything I have seen I think it could help you.

Still seems limited for people to buy have you figured out how to get insurance companies to help people get these devices $30,000 that's a brand new car most people aren't going to be able to afford that also have you tried to make more expensive models for getting funding from different ventures you shouldn't just focus on one venture that's going to limit your opportunities to grow and growth is the only way you're going to be able to bring that product down in price
