Hi, great video. Thank you so much for the information. I live in Phoenix. But my front yard has a 4' wall. And it's set up like a microclimate. Lots of shade in parts and morning and afternoon shade in others. Most people say it looks like a jungle 😄. Fruits trees, shrubs..., would that be a good environment for a sulcada? I'm thinking of getting a baby. But I do know that they would stay indoors for a few years. Can you also suggest a descent set up for indoors too? Thank you in advance 😊

Great Video, I live in a portion of Southern California where winter temps drop down into the low 30s. what precautions should I take during the winter months to protect my Sulcata. Do they need to be brought in during the winter months ?

Thanks for the info....everyone scares me off of the sucata because of digging. But still probably should not get one here in south Michigan due to there are only 3 months (4 depending if we have a rather mild May or September) that I could safely have them outside. It wouldnt be fair to them.

Hey since I still go to school in September we are going back so I was wondering what can I do to know my tortoise is ok when I’m gone for usually 7-9 hours. She lives in a 3x2x2ft. Tank and is 1 and a half she always tries to flip but she don’t but instead sometime gets hurt in her back legs from when she scrapes on the wall and falls, her she’ll digs into her skin which leaves scars but that’s my only problem. How can I insure she is safe since I don’t have anybody qualified to watch her

I can’t give mine grass because they spay In my neighborhood so she get romaine lettuce she is she 6mo old I’m ordering Timothy hey for her grass hope it gets here soon

they really won’t dig if you get them shade? i want one as a pet, recently moved into a house with a huge yard can basically provide them everything my only worry is the digging..
