How fortunate are we all, to have the beautiful Dr. Dray to help us all? She doesn’t have to spend her free-time imparting advice. She’s helped me to literally overturn my entire facial and body skincare. Particularly my body, where my skin was flaking off, and nothing I applied would help it. CeraVe has restored and plumped my skin. Thank you Dr. Dray, you’re amazing. ❤️

Finally a sulfur video. I can share this in my makeup group. They think pinterest, lemons and coconut oil are great for skin. Can you do a video where you go through pinterest and debunk their ridiculous and unhealthy advice??? I would be forever grateful. Sending love from San Antonio!!!!

I have Rosacea with very fair sensitive skin ( dubbed by one dermatoligist as "bad Irish skin) and use Sulfacetamide along with Finacea and Doxycycline. That combination is effective but can be very expensive. If there are OTC products to use and I can save some money, it is helpful to know what those products are and where to buy them. I have purchased from iherb at your recommendation and have bern happy with iherb.

I tried both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide for my acne, but neither of those worked on me:( My mom bought me the De La Cruz Sulfur Oinment that she found in the Mexican market, and I tried it thinking it wasn't going to do anything. But after using the entire tub I realized that my skin improved tremendously! After getting knowledgeable about skin conditions, I realized that I had fungal acne which is why sulfur really worked well for me.

Eradikate is a hero product for me despite some dryness which I can live with. A few years back I had tried every thing short of seeing a derm and getting an Rx for hormonal cystic acne on my chin pre-period. I was so miserable and desperate. I found a random review that suggested it was useful for cystic spots so I tried it. It doesn’t just get rid of it ASAP (never that simple) but it stops the cysts in their tracks and gets rid of them SO much faster than they go away on their own. I may try the first product you suggested to see if it helps

I bought some Prosacea yesterday. Should I moisturize my face first, let it dry, and then apply Prosacea? Or should the Prosacea go on first, then moisturizer? Does it even matter? Before I started watching your videos, I couldn't figure out why every moisturizer I tried was making my face sting and itch, why sunblock was burning my eyes, and why exfoliating my face wasn't improving the appearance of dry patches on my red cheeks. For the past several months, I have been using Cerave moisturizer, Cetaphil Cleanser, and mineral sunscreens. I will never exfoliate my face again. My skin is so much calmer now and it's because of you. Thank you so much for making these videos and sharing your knowledge. You have helped me and so many others more than you will ever know.

Hi, I use hard soap with sulfur to wash my face, twice a day. It leaves my skin soft and is effective in keeping acne away. It has a small tingling sensation, but a kind of a good "Hi, I'm working" sensation. It feels drying sometimes, but I use a moisturiser afterwards, so it's ok. In Europe, it is sold in drug stores only, for around 5 Eur.

Even though my acne is under control with differin, I still use this once a week.

Bit late to the party but, if it helps, (UK) Malki Dead Sea Sulphur Soap helped me a lot with the papules and pustules of rosacea. Didn’t aggravate my skin and I just used it as my second cleanse until they were under control and then once a week for maintenance. Doesn’t make me red or dry. FYI I follow with ‘Buffet’ from The Ordinary and Azelaic Acid from The Ordinary + a moisturiser. Clear skin at last (with just the little capillaries (victims of when it was really bad 😕) to deal with at a later date but smooth and non inflamed - yay!) Hope this helps xx

Hi Dr. Dray! What are your thoughts on the Sal3 bar soap? Ingredients: 3% salicylic acid, 10% sulfur Inactive ingredients: saponified palm and palm kernel oils, glycerin, lanolin, cocamide DEA, ethanol, titanium dioxide Thank you so much for your advice!🙏🏼

Sulfur is (or was) used to keep chiggers away. We used to be dusted with it from head to toe at Girl Scout Camp when I was a kid. We all looked as though we had been pollinated each morning. There was also some type of white sugary looking sulfur powder that my mother used to sprinkle on open wounds/scrapes when we were young. I can’t begin to imagine what that was or if it was even safe! 😄

I bought the De La Cruz ointment you recommend, and i really like it. EVERYTHING usually clogs my pores, but this doesn't! However, I did some research and found that the polyethylene glycol, an ingredient in the ointment, is often contaminated with carcinogenic substances. I'm hoping to find a quality sulfur powder and mix it with water to make a mask.

Sulfur is my favourite spot treatment ingredient, as SA is too drying and makes my skin peel and BP seems to not have much of an effect. I love EradiKate and have been using Peter Thomas Roth "Acne Spot and Area Treatment" which is 5% colloidal sulfur and 4% glycolic acid. It's $24 in Canada for 15 mL.

5 percent sulfer from Urban Skin Rx (Target) has a very very mild scent and goes away completely after rinsing off. I've only just tried once last night as a mask. Excited to have it ready this but if final redness I've had in the side of my nose since 2001

I really LOVE the Rodan and fields sulfur cleanser from their acne line. I used their products for a bit and used the rosacea line and that cleanser once daily. I’ve since moved to more affordable products but still purchase that cleanser because I haven’t found anything like it elsewhere and the sulfur really does calm my rosacea

I have been to Fiji and went in the mud baths there. My skin on my arms had little dots and after sitting in the mud for a while I noticed when we washed off my arms were clear. It is definitely the sulphur. Going to try this for my son who has blemishes on his face. Wish I could bottle the Fijian mud. 😬

I’ve been using CeraVe PM religiously for years. But a few nights ago, I wanted to give the tub cream a try on my face like you do, and I love it. It make my skin look more matte and baby smooth. Also a better occlusive due to containing petrolatum . So win win!

I've been using the CerVe PM first on my skin followed by a layer of CerVe in the tube and then a few drops of facial oil because my skin has been so dry this winter. It's been a good routine for me.

Happy Monday Dr. Dray! I use Dr Dennis Gross's sulfur mask. If I have a pimple I would just dot some on at night and cleanse my face in the morning. It has been helpful in shortening the duration of the pimple. I just started using Differin after watching your videos. I am having small breakouts because of it. Can I still apply a small dot of the sulfur cream to the pimple/pimples at night after I apply the Differin?

I like the Heritage Sulfur soap better than Kate Somerville’s EradiKate cleanser(3%). For treatment, I loooooove Sunday Riley’s Saturn mask (10% with Niacinamide, Manuka honey, zinc & tea tree) that stuff is incredible and I do like Kate Somerville drying lotion for spot treating at night (also 10%)

Worked up the courage to visit a dermatologist to look at some suspicious spots I had and he has diagnosed me with mild rosacea so I'm interested in trying out one of these products to see if it helps tone down the redness. I feel like I have to go and sit in the corner with the other people that aren't allowed any fun as he suggests no alcohol, no coffee, no chocolate and no spicy foods and they are all my favourite things :(. I have the no sun one already covered thanks to you!

After dealing with closed comedones / whiteheads or fungal acne for about 3 years. I have spent so much money and time on products bha, aha, benzoyl-peroxide and nothing worked but after a few days with the del la cruz, my skin is actually getting better. I just can't believe it. I was so close to getting a chemical peel because I just thought nothing would work for me. If your skin doesn't like benzoyl-peroxide, bha or aha give sulfur a go
