In this video, I will share my main trouble spots and how I am dealing with them. I will also share how I am keeping the lawn green in 99 degree weather.

Great content as usual, but wouldn’t putting sand make the soil hydrophobic?

Haven't noticed any issues with water not draining, not even alittle.

Greetings from Texas!! New subscriber here and I’m learning a lot from your videos. I noticed you had the landscape lights along side your driveway. I’m looking to put some in myself. Any suggestions? Thanks for all your info!!

Best ones are inground well lights so you can mow over it. I got my lights from Volt lighting.

I let the Bermuda yard get pretty heat stressed and I usually spoon feed. Want to bring it back do you suggest adding fert to a heat stressed lawn and just continue watering as normal to get 1.5” per week. In Texas and it hotttttt

Water first, dont fertilize until after the heat wave. You should be able to bring it back with just water and natural irrigation. Continue to spoon feed as usual.

How are you liking your McLane reel mower? I have a Honda rotary mower and am afraid to take the leap into reel mowing.

Mclane is a good entry mower. There are better ones out there but will cost more obviously. If you are on the fence, try the used market. You will get a good deal without breaking the bank. If you find the mower is for you, then you can upgrade later. At the time of purchase, I was not looking to spend alot. There are minor issues but for the most part, I am happy.

Thank you! Are you able to maintain the Mclane yourself? Sharpening, bed knife adjustment, etc? @@TheALG

During the season, I backlap and adjust the chains as needed. I also change the roller wheels. I send it out during the off season for major sharpening but it can be done yourself if you want. I just choose not too.
