The hall pass bit kinda made me laugh. No joke, when I was in high school film production class, the hall pass was a VCR. I’m not sure what was funnier, the fact that I had to carry a VCR with me to the bathroom or the fact that nobody questioned it.

I saw the theatre, and thought, "That looks like MCAD's theatre," When brutalmoose says it was screened at the Minneapolis of College of Art and design, "OH MY GAWD!"

Honestly it seems like a movie done with a lot of passion and love. There is ton of cool shots and ideas like a shot where he hides a bloody hand with knife behind a wall when the girl is walking his way. And the credits sequence is simply fantastic. I wish the makers of this movie a bright future when it comes to making movies

If its possible, id love to see more from this horror collection, its astoundingly hilarious for chad and ian to review them so far!

I like the concept of multiple segments assembled together. It's a neat filmmaking challenge, especially the way they have to use the school and the same actors... which is why the whole Hillbilly segment indeed sounds like the worse part.

I haven't seen the movie, but from what you showed in the video, I think the "he gets hit by a car" ending makes sense, thematically, because the real message of the movie is "horror movies are harmless fun, even the gory ones", isn't it ? That's why the sequence in which the protagonist gets mental and kills everyone is also just a dream, because that's not what horror movies do to you. And then he gets hit by a car, because that's a more likely thing to happen that being turned into a psychopath by a horror movie. And YES, I am reading too much into it.

Have you guys not seen The Deliverance? Killer hill billies is classic horror! Also The Hills Have Eyes, Cabin Fever (kind of). There's probably a bunch more.

The spider-ape designs in the credits were really good. The monsters looked like what you would see in a really old cheap-o movie in the film. Those designs looked like what you would find in a really stylish horror comic. There's lots of detail put into its shading and fur. I wanna know who drew them; really well done!

Interesting mention of hall passes. I'm aware of a lot of US public schools using weird items as hall passes (usually because pieces of paper keep getting lost, stolen, or counterfeited), but the only time I really remember having to use hall passes in any form was in junior high, which was a US public school, and we just used pieces of laminated paper. Now, I moved to the UK for high school, and that was a private school because applications for resident aliens to attend public schools had closed by the time we moved, so that might have had something to do with it, but we never used hall passes in high school or Sixth Form (think senior year, but twice, and in a separate building) over there at all. If you had to leave class, you asked, and if the teacher said yes, you just went, and nobody would really question you. Most of these kids were rich though (my dad's company paid for my time there, we probably wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise), so they didn't have much of a history of disobeying authority. I'd guess that's why it worked out most of the time.

When he said B Movie I was expecting a lot more, would definitely see a bee movie horror film 0/10
