One of my favorites to put together during the spring and summer season are my containers. While I don’t do a bunch of flowering annuals, I do love texture and deep colors. Here are a few of my favorite containers from around my yard. I hope they inspire you for next season!

I haven't even watched the entire video yet but, before I forget, that pot packed with succulents looks absolutely incredible. I'm glad you mentioned that you don't water it but, that it doesn't matter if it gets rain and it still thrives. I would think that would need full sun and very little water. Nice to know.

Kaleb, your gardens are just beautiful. When you were kneeling by your one urn by the porch, with the sunlight on the yard and field across the road, it was just a beautiful scene. We use to have a big Agave like yours but it got so large we couldn't even get it inside with our cart, so had to let it go. We have a Meyer lemon we haul into our little garden room every fall & it rewards us with the most juicy, delicious lemons. If anyone has the room, I recommend one.

I do a lot of succulents, South texas it's about the only thing that survives the heat. I am going to look at spiderwort in a different way. We usually pull it out and throw it away! Love the pots

Love seeing all the colors of green and especially the purples and blue grays. But i also enjoyed seeing the field of corn with the golden tops and then the weeds along the edge of the corn also turning such a beautiful gold. But also noticed a haze over the corn. Are you experiencing some of the smoke from Canada too like we are in Michigan?

Thought I would give succulents another try. I've got about nine and found an old, small defunct fountain in which I'm going to plant them. I'll have to look up that document video, I missed it or forgot about it😂. Thank you for sharing the container updates! PS - I've also been watching your cooking videos, definitely have a few of your easy dinners to try.😋

I have to tell you that I copied how you did your ferns with the string of "whatever", my strings were doing horrible and my fern was so unhappy (I am in SoCal, so I do keep them out all year) I paused the video, ran outside, took my planters all apart, and put everything back together as you did and crossed my fingers, and I have to tell you, it is doing beautiful. Just lining my fiber basket with the plastic, which is the secret, made all the difference, thanks so much.

Wise Guide. Loved your video, loved it even more when i heard you were in iowa, me too!and i have struggled to find someone from my state on youtube. Last year i bought what i now know is a pencil cactus from Walmart for like 3.00 a gallon size. I had no idea what on earth it was until today. Thank you for all of the inspiration!

Hi, loved the video as always! You’re a natural! Interested in knowing where you purchased your concrete planters and trellises supporting the mandevilla. Also prefer the white to the pink mandevilla! Nice choice!

I'm sad...you didn't identify all of the plants in your 1st 3 containers...the pale ones w the tall obelisks. Could you please?? You mentioned White Mandevilla, Black & Blue Salvia, & Angel Wing Senecio. You touched + referred to the other two, but didn't name them...:(
