Brandon - "The conventional deadlift primarily uses the hamstring and spinal erectors to complete the movement. Sumo deadlifts on the other hand utilize the quads and hips slightly more. Transitioning between movements can be challenging and simply widening your stance from your normal conventional pattern will not equal a stronger sumo deadlift."
