We still have updates coming from some, maybe not all. It's a bit soon to get upset, they just announced changes people suspected for some time. How much more before people are okay again? As a Titan main it is tuff these days. I wanted Saint 14 buff and something else atleast. 95% of our exotics are completely useless even in normal strikes.

Titans are meant for close range melee with high risk, high reward but Bungie clearly doesnt like that anymore so they nerf anything melee related. But what they dont do is replace it with something else. Kinda of hard when all titan range melees are trash in high end gameplay, with the exception of concentration, which has limited range.

This, like ffs there are so many areas warlocks need major help in. - Nova bomb needs a further buff - weavewalk needs two fragment slots + perhaps make it so you can perch two more threadlings than usual. - chaos reach needs a buff so its not trash without geos - nova warp? Never heard of her - dawnblade, PvE specific buff to damage or duration. (Doesnt have to be big but something is needed) - Winters Wrath, trash in PvE. Theres a reason people rock agers. Needs a big duration buff or just remove the penalty when you release shockwaves. - stasis melee, range or damage buff please, and make it less likely to wiff/just not count with direct hits (happens to me all the time in pvp) - stormtrance, buff to initial landfall damage. Fine apart from that. - icarus dash, think its needs a minor passive effect adding ie procs radiant for you alone for 5 seconds (can be extended with solace ect). - the other two stasis fragments (not bleak watcher or iceflares) so irrelevant I cant even remember there names rn. Thats not even addressing the class wide issue of our laundry list of useless exotics. Skull of ahamkara being one Aztec mentioned.

i'm literally a strand, banner of war, severance enclosure main. It doesn't even make sense. The only reason you take the chance diving into a group of ads is because of the radius of damage. requiring line of sight is dumb. basically cut your damage by 2/3rds and anything that gets past me while im in a finisher animation will not only be constantly damaging me but will be at full health still

Damn...my combination blow+ amplified and over shields...

I hate it. It means that we won't be able to use Severance explosion after explosion like we can now. Because Knockout and other aspects like it normally makes your unpowered melee, a powered, allowing you to get explosion after explosion. With this change, we will now only get the explosions after spending a melee charge. Melee charges that can take several seconds to get back unless you build into them specifically or use Monte. They just killed Severance in my eyes. I am beyond shattered, and f*cking pissed, because now it means the Prismatic build I had in mind with Spirit of Severence/Spirit of Contact is dead in it's crib.

They should have buried that exotic. I can’t believe it was unscathed.

Helmet of St 14 will provide weapon's of light which bubble by itself no longer does. But you're right, a lot of exotics could have used a buff to do more than occupy vault space while waiting for better days.

Those aren't exotic armor. Look to the ability tuning article to voice your disappointment.

I had to go and reread it but judging by the description of the nerf, it looks like the target lock indicator for Cenotaph won't show up for the person using it and only other people can see it. That's gotta be one of the dumbest nerfs Bungie has ever done in general because if the person applying the debuff can't see if they've applied the debuff, then it just means that you could be wasting ammo for no reason. There's a very good reason me and all of the people I know who've played D2 in any significant way all agree that Bungie doesn't play their game or at least doesn't play it in the same way as it exists for the general player base. This belief has already been very solidified for us but that part of the Cenotaph nerf is the perfect evidence for justifying that belief.

I was blown away how many builds they have and how many exotics work and almost all in endgame level. Like there is more viable just void hunter builds than there are of ALL Titan builds combined.

there is a limit to just mechanics to make something harder without buffing enemy hp and damage constantly to keep up, it turns into a mess.. thats now how you balance and how bungie balances isn't how you balance either

@yulfine1688 no I don't mean it as an all solution. I'm saying years and years of this hp and damage changing NOW needs more mechanics because bungie has relied too long on health and damage. Look at warlords ruin and gotd. Mechanically simple but are seen as hard due to the massive boss hp and damage. Had the bosses have less hp and more balancing mechanics like the rebuff you have to remove by melee and capturing zones during the end of the warlords ruin boss fight, these would be seen as more entertainingly hard rather than cheaply hard due to you actually having to think and not failing due to repetitive artificial difficulty from massive hp bars. Right now it's do these simple mechanics and repeat it 3-6 more times because bosses have soo much health. I'd rather have a boss with less health that I feel proud of defeating from overcoming and juggling mechanics than feel drained from repeating the same thing 5 times.

Take a look at warlock content creators, and they will tell you that warlocks haven't been "all that" since the season that hit 2.0. Warlocks have no shatter proc in stasis. Warlocks don't feel like a threadling lord when titans and hunters can spawn them just as easy. Our IP nova bomb is the worst burst super in the game. Nova warp always shit in pve. Arc hasn't changed since forsaken besides the nerf of geomag. And solar only change is protocol. It's not the fact that no one will use Ursa. It's the fact that they updated it to help those who do get their super quicker. Meanwhile, our super exotic (Skull) is terrible. They need to either give it a super dmg perk or another way to increase super recharge. Any nerfs that did happen for warlock were the ones that were too easy or overused in pve and annoying in pvp. But nothing substantial. I'm not a idiot. I'm aware of the repeated nerfs for titans and hunters. But that's because you all got our "verbs" and get more dps shit than warlocks. While we get the ship helmet, a pet repeats exotic and tangle combo with threadling. Bungie is making us the support class while stating we are the spam class. And that's not true. Sunbracers, protocol, nezarc, and verity has been the build for most warlocks for a long ass time. I'm using other shit, but I know it's not S tier exotics for end game content.

It's not an 'overshield keyword'. The Icefall overshield should stack with the damage resistance of Frost Armor. If Icefall was just Frost Armor it would be worse.

I mean think about it it could grant you two versions of a boosted stasis overshield, one weaker which you get when use if your rally barricade and it give the rally barricade buff, and a stronger one when using the regular titan barricade.

And they could repair when you gain stacks of the regular overshield.

@@galaxybrainkid1222 If you aren’t doing it that way, then you’re missing out on damage. Lethal Current applies so much more damage than normal punching. That’s how you’re already supposed to use combination blow.

idk if that's true though, because spirit of star eater only grants the overcharged super benefit. I think this nerf is specifically targeted at people abusing that infinite super chain they mentioned in the blog with golden gun. Seems like the wrong way to go about it though

@@squidy4082 not really. Devour is really good for survivability, volatile rounds goes super hard for add clear. Nova yeah, it’s not the best or strongest damage super… but it still gets the job done.

Idk man, Shards of Galanor pretty busted with how fast and frequently you can spam Blade Barrages. That and Celestial are good ways of making Super Regen exotics worth it. Dire Ahamkara could be changed to something along the lines of “Vortex Grenade kills grant additional Super energy” similar to how knife or precision kills give bonus energy while using Shards or Celestial And it wouldn’t even be busted considering how hesitant Bungie is to buffing Nova Bomb’s damage

​@@thatoneguy2136 I don't play hunter so I didn't know how shards worked exactly By super regeneration I meant like just using the super refunds energy, back in the day nova bomb could get like 80% energy back from a few kills, shards could get the same amount from just hits We'll have to see how good nova bomb is after the buff, I want it to do similar damage to thundercrash with curiass, but that would be too much so that's why I want skull to buff the damage

They forget Titan is even a class after they give all the good parts to other classes.

You guys are forgetting that there are other ways to get frost armor. It's much more likely you'll use renewals to maintain the timer on high stacks of frost armor as opposed to get your stacks started. You'll want to place your grenades more intelligently. I think it's more of a buff; the skill ceiling went much higher.

It takes up the exotic slot, so no. That would be insane having an exotic on top of the Prismatic Class item granting 2 exotic effects. So either you run an actual exotic or the class item granting 2 effects

I think bungee doesn’t realize they are hanging on by a wire and yet still trying to do things the same way thinking that what isn’t giving them success anymore somehow will all of a sudden. They should be absolutely leaning hard into the power fantasy and making everything powerful and fun and screw the balancing. They need people to be engaged and having a blast ripping through the game- not grinding. More nails on their coffin of what their company looks today. It will be vastly different very soon with a much different cast of employees

I've purposely not bought the expansion to teach Bungie a lesson and was planning on buying it tomorrow for$100. After this, nope not buying the expansion for another month. Bungie hasn't learned there lesson and I'm not paying for nerfed content, ducking period. At this point we all need to stand on principle alone and call them out for hyping a game that story wise makes no sense. You don't face the witness with nerfed content, it would be like Fighting a war without air power. War isn't balanced, it's kill or be killed. Are we at was for our existence in the game or not?
