Thank you Father Dave for following God's will for your life. Your priesthood has certainly blessed my life. My faith has been deepened by your teachings and I have applied many suggestions to my every day life. Your online Mass and all the other you tube videos are a blessing to many all over this world. This particular Mass, I learned that the Host is held by the thumb, index and middle fingers. Love learning these "particulars" Peace and prayers especially for Tim, and you. God bless you father Dave and May he increase your gift of a sense of humor. I have noticed that many men are sitting in church and their body language shows they really don’t want to be there. I remember a marriage counselor asked the man regarding marriage. Do you want to be right or do you want to be happy. However, I have noticed Over many years (I am 78)that men are drawn to attend mass with their own desire as a result of a homily that involved humor. Archbishop Fulton Sheen had that gift and you my brother in Christ have that gift.My prayer is that Our Blessed Mother whispers in her son’s ear and asks him to increase you gift bringing in hundreds upon thousands of sheep into the sheepfold. Your demonstration with the seed today is prophetic just like the mustard seed in the Bible. My mother’s maiden name was Mullen and she was blessed with a tremendous sense of humor. She would say: Do you realize there are more horses asses in this world than horses. I was told that she was gorgeous growing up and she turned many men’s heads on her journey. I mentioned this because it coincides with my next little anecdote. We have had many other Irish Saints beside St Patrick . St Aidan,st.Brigid,St.St Colubkille,St.Kieran St. Columban. Supposedly was so handsome that He was advised that if he truly wanted to live as an ascetic,he would have to go to a region where women were less seductive and attractive--someplace like….Ireland . I love to share that story with my many Irish women friends. We all have stories if we choose to embrace the virtue of Humility. I think my biggest step forward was to ask my Heavenly Father (our) to have Humility like my(our) blessed Mother some times on the path there are stones of humiliation. Today my thinking of our Lord being spit on.dressed in a purple garment. a crown of thorns forced on his head so hard that it bled profusely. Then the mocking Hail king of the Jews. Thanks, Father Dave & ⭐️helpers. At an Easter Vigil in my legacy parish, the priest was belting out “Light of Christ!” In the dark sanctuary, and we all heard a whoompff🔥Sure enough, the cuff of his alb caught fire. So then, he waved his arm, pretty much fanning the flames, and the tassel of his cincture began to burn. Too many parishioners were just shrieking. But my ⭐️family started yelling “Roll! Roll!” and others instantly joined in. Then, a big, Polish usher tackled the priest like an OG footballer, and rolled him in a long overcoat. The Paschal candle went flying, and they never found all 5 of the wax nails. The priest had minor burns, and bruises from the usher flattening him. We got home SO late.

Great mass which I was listening to a I was walking the dog here in Australia. When I went to mess last night they had the lazarus story for the gospel reading. Interesting our differences God bless all

Thank you for Mass. I'm a bit confused, the Saint who went back only to be beheaded, following God's plan. So asking God what He wants me to do, and I go back to harm, I go anyway, as I'm going based on my faith? Did the Indians ever accept God after they beheaded that Saint? Hm..I need to read about him. Loved your mini video on sorghum seeds. Can you eat them raw, not that I would. Your masses are full of so much more than a priests homily. Thank you and prayers for All. So I guess I'm to stay on my job that I don't like, working on Sunday. I pray to Him every Sunday and I ask for help. And every Sunday I get the same message, 'Go upstairs, plug into your phone, and get to work.' Amen.

DAY 33: Fr. Dave Lenten Challenge '24 - No car radio/spend drive time in prayer. Been a tough one, brother (broke on a couple road trips and softly played Christian music/Gospel stations - hope that doesn't count, lol.) Have never felt closer to God. Father Dave I got good news and bad news. A/ good news - I started the Saint Anthony of Padua novena. Instead of one day at a time for 9 days I try to do every day each day for super power ... B/ bad news - 1/ the day started it I was attacked by car jackets and Jesus saved me . [ but unfortunately I acted as I too had a gun 🔫 and I said make my day and several other explicit narratives but it worked and Jesus saved me...] 2[ than a while later the devil attacked me and hurt me again. Knowing if I'm hurt I can't fulfill my obligations to Jesus.. as a sufferer for souls I'm left here in pain . It's hard to do anything even breath so I couldn't get to mass today..even sleeping hurts..so hopefully I'll be better enough to go to your mass next week.... ]

You will find this remarkable. My local parish used to be run by missionaries from the US- buffalo area. In our parish library were quite a few English books. One, quite old, published by Image (I think) was "Saint Among the Hurons" which details the life of the priest you mention. A must read for any US Catholic (IMHO)
