Dispute Information:
We are fully within our rights to use the hymn, "Come, Holy Ghost" it was written in the 1800s which is well before the year to be considered public domain of 1928 in the United States of America where we are located and where this "Mass with Father Dave" was filmed. A work is considered to be public domain in the United States of America 70 years after the creator's death which in this case would be 1948 for "Come Holy Ghost" since Edward Caswall died in 1878. Any claim to this hymn's music/melody or text by entities foreign or domestic is invalid. Additionally, any claim to this work as a "cover song" is invalid as the musicians of the Church of St. Martha performed this hymn and no recording was used. We are fully within our rights to use this public domain hymn.
