There is an additional benefit to Sunfire: comfort. You're basically immortal with both Bennett and Jean healing you. As long as you still have enough damage to clear, that is certainly an option. There was a recent Abyss with hydro+cryo lectors on chamber 1 where I subbed in Sunfire to just facetank them without any malding. (Also, I've been playing this game for 3 years, but I literally would not be able identify a single ability icon).

AMEN. It feels really comfy and Sunfire Jean just looks satisfying in general. Also not everyone likes Xiangling enough to use her 😶 I want her to be somewhat “powercrept” so bad by Arle or the Pyro Archon, even if she’s still widely used I’m just waiting patiently for a time where she’s not dominating every team that would like consistent pyro application… I’m a hater and I’m proud (I actually have nothing against but I would never build and use someone I don’t necessarily love)

⁠@@megaleafblade27 If she is powercrept, there’d be no reason to play any pyro dps other than her. Genshin tries to avoid powercreep when they make characters, like when they nerfed Yelan’s hydro app in beta so that she wouldn’t just be an outright better Xingqiu.
