Cincau is made from grass jelly leaves (cincau leaves), produced by crushing them and extracting the water, and it becomes jelly, very natural and is very good for the digestive system. And Gudeg is a must if visiting Jogja :D

Being Brits, you probably know that Englishman Sir Stamford Raffles (1781-1826), the founder of modern Singapore, had a spell as Governor of Java from 1811 to 1816. During his governorship he "rediscovered" the famous Buddhist temple complex Borobudur by ordering its excavation under tons of volcanic ash. He also wrote The History of Java, published 1817 in two volumes. As to Jalan Malioboro in Yogyakarta, one theory says the name was from Malborough (the Duke of Malborough) given during Raffles' governorship of Java.

But the lady didn't explain each price, maybe for the language. Everywhere in Indonesia, the price of chicken satay 10 pcs + 1 rice cake = IDR 25 K. That's why I miss Jogja for the lower price of foods, which I can't find anywhere else here in Indonesia.🥰

Cincau was made from cincau's leaf, and taste actually just plain. With some ice, sugar, and sometimes jackfruit are good combination. Cincau also good for your throat, it cools down after eating deep fry food

One little tip when in central java or jogja area, change the word “Abang” to “Mas”. Same word, different language. (Melayu to Javanese)

Usually the pickle for fried food ,Usually pickles in fried foods serve to reduce the greasiness. The jackfruit in gudeg is young jackfruit, slow cooked with palm sugar

Next Prambanan area yooo.... And dont forget to walking or use golf car 800m north from main temple prambanan to see harmony btwn Hindus n budhism. To see 3 more little temple inside of Prambanan area. My fav is Sewu temple, not big but very beautiful even more beautiful than my girlfriend. And this temple is more older than Borobudur and more older than US presid.......,. Mhhh i lost my word 🙄✌️😅

the juice is from jeruk peras (squeeze orange), one of many kinds of orange in indoneisa. it tastes sweet with a little bit sour; and they squeeze them with a simple machine or by hand.

The word "karta" in "Yogyakarta" is ancient Javanese which means "city", so Yogyakarta means Yogya City, but we use to call the city by Jogja.

You guys handle that 'sellers' so smoothly. Good job And about Indonesian orange. I don't think that it has a better flavor, but it has a better citrusy fragrant. Same like mango. Thai mangoes are crazily sweet, but Indonesian mangoes has a better fragrant

Hi guys.. I suggest don't use Abang in Central or East Java. Just use "Mas" for male and "mbak" for female. If you use Abang, maybe they won't notice it, because Abang in Javanese language means Red color. Use Abang in Sumatra island..

Guys, some info: the term 'abang' is commonly used in west java and especially Jakarta region. Now that u two are in Central Java, you can use the term 'mas'. Its the same for East Java. And i assume u two would go to bali, use the term 'bli' there. Or if you meet elderly person, u can call them 'pak'. Short for 'bapak'.

We have different type of orange. Not Sunkissed something like that. We called it as Jeruk Peras/Squish Orange. It has more water and has thin skin, but so sour. So we put a little bit of sugar. And that's all, the Indonesian Orange Juice😊

Yuumm Cincau... Grass jelly helps the digestive system function because the sugar compounds in this plant have the ability to inhibit bacteria that cause stomach aches. Grass jelly leaves contain several alkaloid compounds which contain quite large amounts of vitamins B and C. Enjoy guys. Really fun to see the journey.

The bastion is part of the palace. It was destroyed during the massive earthquake in the late 1800s and never being repaired until the recent renovation in around 2020. Some visitors are allowed to climb to the bastion, but there's a quota and earlier booking for that.

Some said that Malioboro came from the British General, Marlborough. However, the Javanese inscription is read as Maliha Bara ꦩꦭꦶꦲ ꦧꦫ, or Become a Flame! British assaulted the Sultan Palace in 1812, and raiding the palace. However, the leading general was not Marlborough.

Gudeg komplitnya murah ( verry cheaps).menunya lengkap.. Ayam,telur dn krecek rambak ( cow skin) dan terlihat enak.gudeg makanan khas jogjakarta.saya suka makan gudeg kalau pergi ke jogja.

The noise when you buy food, somestimes the seller just joking to each other like "hey you were on youtube, you speak with foreigner can you speak english well, etc"
