Thank you for sharing. We are renovating the original house on our property, built in 1899. Seeing your renovations reassures me that its OK that we cannot restore it to the original look. It will be used for storage once it is done.

Aside from being a flower farmer, I am an interior designer by trade and it is so nice to see your passion for the reno regardless of the (insane) costs and set backs. You have a twinkle about you when you imagine the final result which is awesome.

Looking sooo much better! Just a suggestion, think about putting your payment counter on the other side so you can greet someone as they come in & also see them leaving not having the door open with it’s back to you.....does that make sense?

Probably about 17 years ago, my husband (mostly), and I renovated a building in Cumberland, MD. The first floor appeared to be a store of some kind in its long history, and had large windows like your building. Our renovation was to make it an apartment building, but I always thought that front apartment would have been my favorite. Good luck with the rest of the transformation. You have a keen eye for that kind of work, it's going to be lovely.
