Also, to be fair, the whole 'fuck America, let's just go back to Africa and run it our way' movement wasn't exactly a chapter of history that either side would want to emphasize in History class. It either ended with the leaders either going to prison, becoming pariahs, or founding the worst 3rd world shitholes in a continent known for 3rd world shitholes. I mean, if my claim to fame was 'hey, at least we're not Sierra Leone', I'd want to keep that on the down-low.

@@BbNaB I something like that but it's pretty rare. Sometimes I get a big anxiety at work and start thinking "Oh fuck, I'm lightheaded, im gonna pass out and smash my head open if I don't sit down somewhere." Then I think "fuck, whatever I don't care." Then the anxiety is just completely gone.

Freefallin actually, the rules state that you can't have words on it because the lettering isn't universal. it's why canada is considered one of the best, because you will never confuse it for another country's, can see it from a mile out and it has no words.

@@Yal_Rathol I know this is late reply, but who makes those rules, and how would they enforce them? No seriously, I'm genuinely curious, but also the idea that a flag for a specific nation has to have international appeal is backwards to me. Because cultural symbols are well, cultural.

Well, to be fair, most of Europe actually had really good flags until they all changed them for boring tricolored shit. Albania just kept theirs.

The EU's flag is cool though. Like something you'd see in an anime about colonizing a new planet.

The Irish flag is Green, White and Orange, the green is for Catholics the white is for peace and the orange is for Protestants. It has meaning. And the Italian flag has red instead of orange, a completely different colour. Also have you seen the ivory coast's flag? It's a flipped version Irish flag XD Also just to be clear I'm not giving out, I was just curious;)

Faegbeard flags are supposed to be simple. i don't agree with it being the best (and i'm canadian), but hey, 5 year old me could draw it, so it clearly works.
