Persona 5 definitely doesn't have the 'can't put down the controller' factor for me. It's a great game, but I'm really only personally invested in the story and characters; the gameplay surrounding that is, for me, a little bit akin to the experiences these guys related about slogging through Drakengard's gameplay for the sake of the story. To be honest, I'm a tiny little bit perplexed about how and why it manages to draw in other people so strongly. NieR Automata, on the other hand, was something that I could not pull away from until after I unlocked all the endings.

I swear to god 44:20 is my exact reaction every time I hear the slitest detail in these big fucking convoluted storylines like Yoko Taro's doing. Yall don't know stress of whenever it pops into your mind that the robots Ko-chi & Ro-chi seem to have the memories of past machines you've defeated and are to halves of a whole body, much like the conciusness of n2. But the whole ying yang thing going on also reprisents in a way Adam and Eve, as they also have this black&white contrast to them. And on top of that there is the black and white weapon set that is the canon weapon set for the story (at least the blades). Not to metion the seemingfull black and white war they sell you with at the start of the war with andriods are good, machines are bad. But then nothing in this story is black&white. So why the fuck do they keep refferencing this in the game? I'm too far into this rabbithole of a rant to stop here kiddo... In the library with A2, you learn that the machines have hacked their way real deep into info on humanity. Deeper then the androids have (as far as we know) they mention in the storyline that the machines goal changes upon learning something while doing this. A: could the discovery of the high tech self concius tree from Nier have something to do with that as it's concept has a striking resemblence to n2 (Sp00ky ghost machine) B: Where the fuck does the skeleton that is Emil come from? Because all I know of it is that researchers "discovered" it and chained it up in a fucking basement. But if Emil was strong enough to fight the Aliens and is the sole reason for the machines "being" I'd imagine they'ed want to find out. Which would probably lead them to find out about Caim, The dragon and all that shit aswell. THIS RANT TRAIN HAS NO BRAKES! If they were orignally going to use the cannon to get to the moon, A: it would have been way easier for them to reach the moon then that, So that whole structure is modled for a completly different purpose, so Ark... But why the desire to leave the planet and no fucking way drift away in space I don't belive that for a second. And probably the biggest question that they openly question, but never fucking awnser. WHY THE FUCK WOULD THEY EVEN LET 9S ANS A2 INN THE TOWER? They could have supereasily said fuck 'em and they wouldn't have been able to do dick about their space plot. God dammit, Yoko Taro's work is amasing, but god fucking dammit he tearing my mind apart with this shit!

I loved playing through route b

Really wish this game had more stuff like the Opera Bot, you know? Like just a crazy design where its got parts hanging off of it and a crazy dick monster spewing oil and like weird hacking powers and viruses and shit. That really would have helped a lot of the bosses REALLY stand out, in my opinion. Especially the final boss, which had a design that just felt recycled as fuck.

I wish that all the characters that died as you fly in on the first play through were actually alive and that you built small connections with them as side quests and then they could kill them off in ending C or as you play through. That would have called for more depth and better interaction with other character in my opinion. Since it is semi open world, there needed to be a bit of more thickness in that sense that would be nice since it's optional.

34:00 The problem with A2's B-Mode is 1) they tell you to use it on a FLYING BOSS and 2) there's really only 1 instance in her playthrough where it's viable to use. Really, B-Mode should have just been a Devil Trigger.

I didn't need that info in Nier because I'm used to the [insert corporation or the U.N.] method that so many stories go with, but who runs the world now? The Resistance seems autonomous and YoRHa 'answers' to the counsel of humanity, plus the concept of money seems to have been mostly discarded outside of gears, so then who is pulling the strings? 53:25 .......What?

someone explain how 2b actually being 2e is relevant, like i know that b models are grunts and e models are specialists that kill their own kind by design, but that revelation just comes out of nowhere and has zero bearing on the story. a2 just says "shes an e model, she was always meant to kill you" and then they fight and the two final endings happen.

What a mess

I actually hated playing Automata up through halfway through ending B, but loved C,D,E. That said, I did have investment in the Nier universe and Taro's games, and getting amazing combined chips reeeeally helps the gameplay.

As much as I'm glad that I get my fill of nier automata spoilercast, I didnt really like how Clemps used expanded universe canon though. If Yoko Taro wanted the game to REALLY explain the ending, he could've. I just don't think giving a answer to all of us is "Well... Yoko Taro said this in an interview so it must be true." I wanted more deep introspection, and I just got answers from the director that lies half the time about his own game in interviews. I resubscribed to superbunnyhop because of this. Im so triggered but not really.

can I just talk about a semi I played as a child, it was a mech based fps that was clearly meant for multiplayer but it has bots, this was ps2 so no online multiplayer either, I remember clearly that the mechs almost looked like car's set on the shoulders of a mech there was one with a union Jack paint job and the whole setting was very gritty and urban possibly post apocalyptic if someone can identity it please help it was on a ps2 demo disk from a magazine I think

2A cuts her hair cuse she is just 2b literally. She is only in the game so you can kill off 2b and yet kinda get to keep her at the same time. She has zero motivation except that which 2b gives her and just sort of bounces around the storyline.
