Figured Ill keep doing what is free until its time to buy the internals, needs a body right? @mistermacgray #mcculloch #mistermacgray #supercharged

Like all true mad scientists, I think you're on your own regarding ideas.

You do realize that isn't going to work well, if it works at all, because it is a two stroke, right? the exhaust port opens before the intake port, and it stays open until after the intake port, so it will exit the cylinder prior to compression. you might have a little boost still in the cylinder, but that probly won't account for the power used to pressurize the air that went straight through. 2-stroke gas engines are actually supercharged from the factory, sorta. They aren't considered that, because they all are, but they are. Air goes into the crankcase (typically through a reed valve) as the piston goes up, then as the piston goes down the air gets forced to the top, & that is the supercharging action they all have. Even that will blow air out before compression, but that's why dirt bikes had fatty pipes (tuned exhaust).

Did you watch the videos before and this one where I say I know the physics of what is going on and that this saw is for show purposes for grabbing your eye and not performance purposes? Because your lengthy explanation says to me you didn't. Yes I know and if it gets a rotary valve for the exhaust then the boost will stay in the cylinder.

@@mistermacgray the rotary exhaust valve won't help because it will still be open when the intake port is exposed. That is the reason superchargers aren't used in 2-stroke race engines, it doesn't work. Rules aren't required because there is no power to gain. Sure, exploring new ideas is interesting, but since the idea has already been proven to be a failure, it's not a new idea. Your outcome will also be a failure. Superchargers did work on 2-stroke diesels (see Detroit Diesel), kinda. They were required because the crankcase isn't used. One good part was the intake air didn't have fuel in it, because the diesel hadn't been injected yet. but whatever...do what you want, I'm not going to stop you. There are just many more things to do that haven't already been proven to not work. if you do get it to run I bet it will shoot flames, which could be cool, so make sure you're wearing safety glasses.

@Iowa599 look up here on youtube "2strokestuffing" and watch as his 50cc Supercharged reed valve engine with and exhaust rotary valve builds boost, watch as he has a turbo charged 2 stroke 50cc builds boost. As I said, this engine isn't for racing, it's for show only, period. If it makes any cuts, bonus for me.
