DIY Project. How to renew old clothes.

My sister wanted me to make her dress more interesting. She gave it to me so I can try some fabric paint on it.
I took some time to think about what to depict and how to accomplish it technically.
This time I didn't want to draw a small picture but make something that covers everything. But I didn't want it to take too much time.
Then I came to the idea to wind a rope on top of the fabric and spray some textile paint onto it.
I did the first experiment on a piece of cloth, and I really liked the result.
I put a couple of newspaper sheets inside the dress to prevent the color from leaking from topside to the bottom.
I placed the rope on the dress. I even tried to spell my sister's name with the string.
Then I sprayed it with some green and yellow fabric paint. Let it try for some time and then added another layer.
The next day I finished the other side and then let it try for a couple of days.
After it had dried, I ironed it thoroughly. It was the most timeconsuming part of the whole process. Each patch of the painted fabric has to be ironed about three minutes from both sides of the cloth.
My sister was positively surprised and satisfied with the result.
I will be using this rope and textile spray paint technique more in future videos. It was pleasantly easy to do, and the result is visually enjoyable.
