Another tip (excuse the pun) for keeping the...tip... clear is just before you park the bottle for a bit, with the lid off, stand it upright and GENTLY pump the sides of the bottle. This clears the nozzle. Then put the cap on as usual, keeping it upright. I've had pretty good luck doing that, and don't have to dig crud out before using it again.

How do you guys use this stuff without it clogging up the caps and solidying in the containers they come in. I have NEVER been able to use CA more than once it ALWAYS ends up bunging up the container it comes in and almost ALWAYS ends up solidifying inside the container!

I have had no problem using Zap medium thickness glue but have certainly had problems with others. Of course keep the cap on it when not in use and keep it away from accelerators. In other words, put the cap on the glue before you use any accelerator.

Regarding keeping the Cyano glue for as long as possible: I have a large enough bottle of dessicant, remove sufficient of it to allow two bottles of glue inside, completely surrounding them, and place it in the refrigerator... Following that, I have been able to store it for more than five years without too much degradation or solidifying. Out in the warm and moist air, they last less than a few months!

Another trick is to take fine sandpaper and collect the dust from sanding. Use the dust to fill in a hole and hit it with the thin CA glue. The sanding dust will become like wood filler and blend perfectly. It will also sand like wood because it is wood. That was glossed over in the end but it works really well.

Gel super glue works great for propagating my salt water corals. Ya just put a little bit on the rock then stick the coral piece on then once it hits the water it bonds almost instantly. Gotta use gel though cause regular floats off in the tank. It’s safe for the corals also. So I guess I can say I enjoy glueing animals to rocks😂

I have seen people take the Baking soda and add the powder pigments like Pearl EX then the CA glue. That gets a sort of Epoxy pour looking filler on cracks and knotholes. Even saw a Bowtie fill on a crack with this method. It didn't take much of the pigment to color the baking soda and it looked very nice when sanded and clear coated.

Some breaks can't be successfully re-glued because the part just has to take very high stress, e.g. a plastic axel on a floor cleaner's wheels. Drill a hole into both halves and fill the hole with a steel stud that acts like rebar e.g. a piece of machine crew or coathanger wire or nail that has been dented with wire cutters (to allow the glue to grip). If the hole is a bit bigger than the stud, you have enough slop to align the part halves without aligning the stud. Then with your third hand, you spray the activator. Or for extra strength, use 5-minute steel-filled epoxy.

I remember using Eastman 910 where I worked in the mid70s. We used it to glue very delicate parts together for heliarc welding. The metals were around .050 thick and couldn't be held with clamps. We also took it home to use in all kinds of repairs. One eye opener was repairing a wine glass that had broken from it's stem. After washing it in warm water, it was found to have fallen apart. We soon found that we could "unglue" our fingers by running them under warm water

Hairspray after he got it perfectly feathered and all the 8-balls of cocaine made his hair stand up and pierce the inner walls of the hardhat, therefore, serving as a type of anchoring platform for that numb fuzzy melon. Lol. Usually when you watched this commercial, it was often followed by the Master lock getting a 30.06 round punching straight through it without opening. Funny thing is, years later you see dozens of videos of people never needing to use firepower to disable this brand of locks, all that was needed is 2 paper clips! It seems to be the laughing stock poster child of anything that's considered to be a garbage product. When a novice can pick a brand new padlock, faster than the time it takes for someone to remove the lock from the package it comes in, you might reconsider your decision. Lol

Just a thought about the baking soda trick maybe you could mix some matching sawdust with the baking soda before you add the CA glue then it might match the wood colour better before sanding ! 👍✌️🇬🇧

Right On! 👍 I like that! I’ve done it with yellow glue but have not mixed it with the CA glue and baking soda! Good thinking!

Hey Jon, great video. I have a question about this glue and wish for your honest opinion, I just ordered this type of glue for wood ring making but while watching your video on using it for bonding wood a thought came to me. I purchased an antique German grand piano that has numerous cracks in the wooden soundboard, they dont seem to affect the sound of the instrument at all but are very unsightly and I dont have confidence in them not to change over time. How do you feel about filling in all of the cracks with the thin or medium glue to give the soundboard more stability? I have to add that the cracks are not all of the way through the soundboard, only on the surface. Thankyou brother for any opinion you have to offer, very appreciated

Very generous application of the stuff - but it costs a fortune, well, it does here in Europe.

I've been diagnosed by my psychiatrist, per the DSM-V, and have been doing a lot of self-reflection, owning my feelings and working hard on awareness. I've also been spending time on hobbies I enjoy to help manage stress. That said, I'm pretty certain my attachment needs tend to migrate in the opposite direction of this Crazy Glue. Any recommendations for a Sane Glue? Or maybe something in between, such as a reputable Neurotic Glue? Thank you! We all need to adhere to the sticking points of emotional well being and stay attached to our true selves, while bonding with others.

That round plastic repair could be wrapped with tape then apply your baby powder CA bondo. Hit it with activator. Done.
