Leeteuk is not only the mom of super Junior, but probably the mom of all kpop idols. He is called the leader of kpop, because there are many leaders of different groups and companies who ask for his advice.

to be honest, if i remember correctly Leeteuk doesn't spend money because he has to repay his fathers debt. idk if it's repayed now or not, but in the past it wasn't. Leeteuk's father has abused him a lot in childhood. A LOT. he then lived seperately from him. After Leeteuk went to military his father killed his grandparents and himself. Leeteuk loved his grandparents but couldn't take a break from military because the manager convinced him that public would hate him for it. Before his father killed himself he left a very vicious note behinf for Leeteuk and a VERY HUGE debt. Which leeteuk could choose not to repay but he chose to and worked extra hard to earn money durinf that time. If i remember correctly he's officially diagnosed with depression too.

Super Junior is the first Group with many members before nct. SJ used to have 15 members. 💖 They are called Hallyu Kings or King of Kpop, coz they are the one who introduce Kpop in Asia which is lead to the whole world. They have been active for almost 18yrs 💖💖

Heechul's accident happened in 2006 when he was coming back from Donghae's father's funeral (I believe it was raining, can't really remember) The manager was driving while Heechul was asleep and the accident was caused by the tires malfunctioning when they were trying to switch lanes. Kyuhyun's accident was in 2007 when they were coming back from the radio (almost all of them had radio shows back then) and he was with Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk and their manager. I'm not really sure about what caused the accident.

Another reason why Leeteuk and Eunhyuk are so interchangeable in so many peoples eyes, is because Eunhyuk was the standin leader for Super Junior when Leeteuk was in the military. Therefore, when SuJu did activities during that time he took on the leadership role, so people who didn't really know the group just assumed he was Leeteuk the leader. Yes, E.L.F (Super Junior's fans) had to wait about 9 years before all the members had completed their military service and they were able to come back as a full group (or as complete as they could be with 10/9 of the 15 original members.) There is a 5 year difference between Leeteuk who is the oldest and Kyuhyun who is the youngest (Or 6 years if you include Henry who is the group's true maknae. He's just not allowed to be included in the main group of SuJu. He is a Chinese member who is a part of SuJu-M.) KangIn was the first of the SuJu members to enlist in 2009 and Kyuhyun, was the last to enlist in 2017. They had their first comeback as a full group again in 2019. (Plus, back in the day when the older members were in the military, this was when they were required to serve a full 2 years, so it meant even longer that fans had to wait for them to come back -- now they only have to serve 18 months.)

This video made me miss Sungmin and the past members a lot! OT15 forever! Super Junior really are the Kings of K-Pop. 😍 Kyuhyun’s accident was really horrible! He did almost die and had to stay in the hospital for months. He also almost got a tracheostomy, but his father refused because it would compromise his singing. Leeteuk, who was also a victim of the accident with Eunhyuk and Shindong, had shards of glass stuck all over his back, but all he worried about was Kyuhyun. There are news reports on it uploaded in YT. 😭 Also, I suggest you guys check out their movie, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys. It’s so weird yet funny. Kyuhyun was still in the hospital then, and LeeTeuk only had a cameo as he was still recovering.

This might be a long comment but I feel like I have to give more information about the accident that Kyuhyun and some other members were involved in (it might not be 100% correct but I will do my best). The accident happened in april 2007 when Kyuhyun(19), Eunhyuk(21), Leeteuk(23) and Shindong(21) were going back from their radio show. The van they were traveling in got a burst tier (It doesn't say why) which made the van spin, hit the guardrail and eventually flip over and Kyuhyun were thrown out of the van (he was found 20-30 meters from the wreck with his clothes ripped apart). Eunhyuk and Shindong made it without any serious injurys and Leeteuk got an head injury and injured his hip(He had to get 30 stitches on his forehead and 150 on his hip). The one with the most serious injurys were Kyuhyun. He had a fractured hip, scratches and multiple broken ribs that ended up penetrating his lungs. When he woke up he was lying on the road and he has said that it felt like his lower body was paralyzed and that he thought he was going to die. He started praying and Eunhyuk ran to him and they started to pray together (Kyuhyun was still going in and out of consciousness). When Leeteuk woke up he said that he could not see through one of his eyes due to all the blood and Shindong was taking care of him. When the ambulance showed up they first went to Leeteuk with a stretcher but he sent them away and told them to take Kyuhyun first as he was in a much worse condition than him. The manager that was driving the van blamed the accident on himself and the blame got so big that he ended up going down on his knees in the middle of the road saying he should kill himself for what had happened (don't quote me on this, read it in an article that was talking about their appearance on Radio Star 2012 where they mentioned the accident). While receiving medical attention Kyuhyun passed out again and when he woke up he was in the hospital and had been in a coma for four days. During the time that he was in a coma the doctors called SM and his parents telling them that there was a high risk of him passing away due to his injurys. They wanted to perform a surgery where they go in through his throat and put in a tube so that it would expand his thoracic and abdominal areas, but even then the chance of survival was very low. This surgery would also make his career as a singer impossible as it would damage his voice. His parents were at the hospital with him and had to make a decision but his dad was strongly against this surgery as he knew Kyuhyun's dream of being a singer. This quote is from an article I found where it says that his dad said "My son is a singer. Taking his voice is similar to taking his dreams. I can’t entirely agree with that". Kyuhyun heard about all of this later as it happened when he was in a coma. Luckily there was another doctor at the hospital that had taken a look at the injurys and said that he could try another surgery which did not include going through the throat. They would instead go through the side of his body somehow and this would save his voice if it was successful. His parents made the tough decision of going with the latter option without knowing the outcome. The surgery ended up a success and Kyuhyun survived. He woke up from his four days coma but had to stay for around four months to heal (I think). His first performance again was in september of the same year where he performed with the group for their comeback with "Don't Don". Due to an additional surgery and recovery time his participation was limited during this time. He started appearing more frequently in December but I don't know when he was fully back and recovered. This was an very intense time for Super Junior and ELFs (their fandom) as no one really knew what was going to happen. To end this really long comment I just want to add that I can't believe how difficult it must have been for his dad and mom to make this decision about their son since it was a life-death situation. It takes immense courage... And the fact that his dad took Kyuhyun's dream of being a singer into consideration is just wow. Kyuhyun as said himself that he feels so grateful towards his father for having those thoughts at that moment.

I will try my best to summarize Suju's career and member lineup situations in the shortest way possible to help you understand it. Super Junior debuted on 2005 with 12 members. They were originally "Super Junior '05" notice how there's an '05' because they are supposed to be the 2005 batch and so the members for '06' would be completely different. That was the original plan. But they got so successful after debut that SM decided to make them a fixed group. And so in May 2006, Kyuhyun was added making them officially 13 in the MAIN GROUP. Since 2007, Suju started debuting sub-units. The first in kpop to do so. They have one for trot, vocal line, chinese sub unit, etc. And on their chinese sub unit, there were 2 new members: Henry (the same henry who is close with Mark of NCT from the funny video you also reacted to) and Zhoumi. Back in 2007 when Suju released their song "Don't Don", Henry appeared in the MV with a solo violin part. At that point, ELFs (fans of Suju) protested in front of SM regarding putting more and more members in Suju. Because they argue that they are already fixed, and they even bought shares in SM to keep the lineup as is. Hence, Zhoumi and Henry were never debuted in the main group but only in Super Junior-M (the chinese sub-unit). Fret not, Suju-M was incredibly successful in China. They even perform in new year shows there (the equivalent of year-end shows in kpop, but in China only the biggest artists perform there). On Super Junior world tours, Henry and Zhoumi were also performing. But since Supershow 7, the world tour series after their military hiatus, they were no longer included in the lineup. Later on, Henry left the company already. He seem to end with a good note on them because henry would still hang out with the sujus, he even visited them during the 15th anniversary concert. But the lack of proper promotion and career opportunities for him in SM prompted him to leave and we understand that. He is such an amazing artist, he can't be in the SM dungeon forever. Zhoumi as of this date is still with SM and Label SJ. He has not been releasing new albums since his solo album many years ago, but he releases songs every now and then (He even has a duet with WayV members). Now you might wonder, why are people saying ot15? Technically, there are really 15 members connected to this whole SJ system. The remaining 3 is Kibum, Kangin, and Hangeng. Now, I need to mention that SJ's career is one hell of a tough one. They peaked during those days of kpop where dating is a taboo topic, sassaengs and media stalk the hell out of them, write ridiculous articles even for the smallest bit that is so absurd. Kibum went on hiatus with SJ activities starting 2009(after Sorry, sorry became a hit) which is probably an odd timing. He wanted to pursue an acting career. He had multiple drama gigs but he wasn't able to take off since that point. He never partake in SJ comebacks for 7 years until he decided to part ways with SM and the group officially already. Hangeng, is one important figure in kpop that people these days no longer know about. He was the first foreign member in Kpop, and so laws were not yet accustomed to people like him. These caused unfair profit distribution and career opportunities between him and the rest of the Korean members. During debut, he had to perform wearing a black mask too to cover his identity(but Heechul being the great friend that he is, he took it off of him on stage). In 2009, he filed a lawsuit against SM entertainment regarding the unfair conditions with him and officially ended it around 2011. He used to be Suju-M's leader so it's a hard time for the unit but they were able to get through it. Since then, laws in South Korea have been changed to provide fair labor conditions to foreign members and so the boom of foreign members in kpop groups started. It was all thanks to Hangeng. He is now married and has a child with his wife in China. His career is also going very well since then. Sadly, for so many years Suju weren't allowed to mention him nor publicly interact with him but the members, especially Heechul, have shown many times that they still hang out together. Kangin is a difficult member to talk about because ELFs are divided with their sentiments about him. He was an original member too, but he had DUI incidents for 2 times. One in 2010, which caused him to be sent to the military early, and one in 2017(?) which this time ultimately caused him his entire career. He didn't cause any casualty, in fact he crashed into a pole for that 2017 incident. But the fact that it is still DUI, and Kangin having history of getting into physical fights in the club early in their years of career didn't help his public image at all. That was his only flaw, the man is absolutely good. He used to be one of the protectors of SJ. But sht happened. He's living privately now and has a clothing brand, whom the members are also supporting. It's safe to say ot15 are all in good relation. Suju is now at the point of their careers where it's like "fck contracts, I will hangout with my past members whenever I want to" and as an ELF who has been there since the years when even the names of the past members seem like a forbiden word, it's really heartwarming.

Kyuhyung is actually a miracle. Not only did he not have a high survival rate after his accident, but also Kyuhyung's doctor said he would have to cut his throat for a procedure that would save his life which would mean the end of his singing career (which Kyuhyung father never wanted him to do in the beginning.) But his father told the doctor, "My son is a singer. Taking his voice is like taking his dreams. I can't entirely agree to that." He asked the doctor to find another way. And well Kyuhyung is alive and sings beautifully! Also sidenote, most members of SJ are Christians or Catholic. Siwon is the most outspoken about his faith, but most of the members are practicing believers. In one of the articles about Kyuhyung's accident, they talk about how the members with KH's family prayed together not only for his survival but also to save his voice because without singing Kyuhyung wouldn't want to survive. It's an amazing story!

i think the only difference between Chen & Sungmin is that there are more fans that have slowly accepted Chen's situation now & has a lot of support especially coming from the international fan base. though there's still hate comments & even death threats but not as bad as it was before. i think his hiatus also helped because more people are anticipating for his future activities & if he'll join an EXO comeback. the sad thing about Sungmin is there's still a huge part there that doesn't want him to join the group. the last one i saw that he joined was when they are sending off Kyuhyun to his military service. & it's just 1 episode of an IG/V-live too. hope he'll come back though. there's also Max Changmin of TVXQ. he's also married. he got hate comments & some even asking him to just go solo but asking him to leave TVXQ is pointless since they're a duo. some people are just unbelievable.

I watched this video accidently, just by algorithm, and have something to speak about Sungmin…. We Korean fans are tired of explaning this, but I think I got to. 1. Before he declared about his wedding, many korean elfs(fandom of super junior) knew among themselves that he looks like dating out with someone. We didn’t care. We were happy we got a girlfriend. We justed waited for him to say something about her. But he didn’t. 2. It was a few weeks before the repakage album came out. He just declared that he has to marry at the time. He just declared. Also, SJ was preparing world tour concert at the time, and the day he wanted to marry was the date which the concerts in Japan was going to be held. He didn’t care. He made his members to come to hus wedding , which was in Korea, during the concert. 3. Before his wedding, the leader, Leeteek’s father had died. But Sungmin didn’t care this also. He made him to write a letter about his wedding when he was sad. 4. His wife cliked likes on the SNS posting which was saying that all SJ fans are ugly. Well sungmin clicked like om that posting too. And so on, I have much more to tell. He did too many things, it is hard to write all of them here. But many foreign fans don’t know about this and just claim that Korean fans hate him because he’s married.
