He clearly stated multiple times his channel is not geared towards kids, but then his fanbase gets filled with kids, but Logan's success lets him roll with it. If the mom's really have a problem with it, they should restrict or monitor what their kids watch. This really isn't Logan's fault, he's just doing his own thing.
@emmanuelcarter355110 ай бұрын
He should however add a WARNING sign so that if some parents are afraid of their children watching bad content, they can just take the tablets away from them and stuff, but that might be one of things some parents hate which is TAKING RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THEIR ACTIONS!

Yep, that's a load of bs. If you're the content creator, how are you supposed to stop random little kids from watching your videos, exactly? This is on the parents who don't pay attention to what their kid is doing online or make sure their kid is mentally mature enough to use the internet

To be completely fair, the fact that he stated that this content was NOT for children, and parents were upset with HIM just goes to show how lazy parents have become. You teach your children to stay away from that kind of content, or you put locks on their devices at a young age. Parents will do anything to blame their failures on other people. Let me add here it'll never 100% be one persons fault or another, you can't control everything so either side is to blame, though I really think parents could do a much better job than they have been.
@tenraqs0010 ай бұрын
He still had some blame on his part. He used Nintendo IP’s which are usually kid oriented, and then would post videos with the title “Mario and Luigi go on a stupid dumb adventure” ANY brain dead iPad kid is clicking on that video thinking that it’s normal fan content just to be met with a SML video. This is also the same stuff that caused elsagate around the same time.
@emmanuelcarter355110 ай бұрын
The thing is ever children can handle inappropriate content and if some parents are afraid of their child watching things they're not suppose to, then they should act like a parent and take their devices away or better yet, parents should teach children valuable lessons they should learn that away they won't repeat the same mistakes out of their own lives. They just don't like acting like an ACTUAL FUCKING PARENT!!! Even if Logan adds a warning sign in his videos, it still won't change. I'll use Vivziepop for example. She puts warning signs in every adult content she does and some children are still watching it . There was a 12 year old who was my friend who watches Helluva Boss.@@tenraqs00

Explaining what plushie content was to people has made me feel both old and terrified about the fact that kids nowadays probably didn't grow up as much with action figures and stuffed animals, and instead with KZfaq and iPads. I was born in 2002, I'm not even that old.

You gotta give Logan credit for pushing through ALL these hardships, demonetizations, controversies and even a Cease and Desist to deliver (admittedly not aprropriate but still good) quality content! 👍 Also, you gotta praise Logan for not being afraid to take risks! It’s bold, but admirable considering KZfaq’s guidelines! ⭐️

I didn’t know of SML’s existence until I walked around my local mall and saw this weird store full of puppets. After talking with people, here’s what I can tell about being in the area 1. You always know when him and his gf are around because you see the Mario and Peach Lamborghinis 2. I’ve never seen someone in the SML store other than the opening day. They actually moved from a large store near the food court to a smaller store 3. Dude is actually super nice to fans. My sister’s friend showed up at his place, he took pics with her, and, if I remember correctly, he gave her a switch.

It's honestly really sad to hear his story. Parents would hand their kids tablets so they didn't have to parent them, and once they started watching videos without supervision, they went to the news. Also if you went to his channel's about section, it explicitly said "not for children". Due to this he turned his channel which is still not really for children and made the channel page look like a kid's show just so he doesn't have to go through with the BS again.
@youdontknowsponge62189 ай бұрын
Yeah I wish parents would just use streaming, cable or physical media to babysit their kids instead of KZfaq than SML's downfall would have been avoided.
@tazinboor39139 ай бұрын
@KudaXD WHAT KID ON A TABLET WOULD FEEL INTERESTED IN READING A KZfaqRS ABOUT SECTION? *ALL* Logan had to do was just put a simple WARNING screen at the beginning of the video that said, “Warning: The following video is intended only for adults only, also, you shouldn’t imitate anything in this video because it is only done here for entertainment purposes, after this point I am not to be held accountable, responsible, or at fault for any children watching the video beyond this point. Enjoy.”

@@KudaXD I watched Jacksepticeye when I was younger, and even though he was a more “adult” gamer compared to someone more appropriate for kids like Dantdm (who I also watched), he wasn’t that raunchy, compared to pewdiepie who was involved in two controversies in 2017 BOTH involving slurs. I NEVER EVER watched a video from him at the time. I never even knew about sml until a friend of mine at the time showed me a few of his videos, and I mean, geez, when he visited my house once he even asked my mom if he could watched the walking dead on Netflix, which she obviously said no to which I was completely in favor for. I guess my point is, some kids are smart to avoid raunchy stuff, and some kids, don’t care.
