About Zena saying it was their PMDD making them act like that while being on T: I myself have been on testosterone since Nov 2019, I'm almost 5 years on T now so I have a *lot* of experience with it and how it affects the mental state and body. If you have a history of anger related emotional regulation issues they WILL get worse when you're on T **especially** within the first 1-2 days of your injection, whenever I get my labs done to monitor my levels it's always EXACTLY between shots, I do mine on Thursdays so my lab work is always done on a Monday because that is when your levels are the most stable, after your injection your body has to take it in and process it so the first few days your levels ARE HIGH. Symptoms like agression are typically worse but if you have skills to manage them (like I have found over the 5 years being on T) it's not going to be much of an issue. The couple days BEFORE your shot , your levels are going to be lowered and dip below where they should be (this is why a routine of doing your shots on the same day is a very important thing because you can very easily throw your levels out of whack and experience horrible symptoms). Basically, Testosteron DOES increase aggression and that is why my doctor always asks about my symptoms and when I first started that first year was HEAVILY monitored because your introducing a higher level of HORMONES into the body, the body wasn't made for those levels so it's going to throw it out of whack at first. It is also why my psychiatrist wanted my mental health to be at a stable point for at LEAST 3 months before he approved my prescription because hormones WILL affect your mental health. I have my own mirad of mental and psychical health conditions (Autistic, Schizo-spec, EDS to name a couple, I have a lot of issues all diagnosed by my doctors and being monitored and medicated as needed, I'm 23 and been in therapy since I was 14 so I've well learned how to take care of these conditions) so I know first hand how much hormones and mental health go hand in hand Basically uh TLDR : Yes testosterone should have very well been considered in their behaviour because it does and Will affect every aspect of your being because you're introducing a higher level of *hormones* than the body is used to and it is KEY to figure out PROPER coping mechanisms and not to pawn off your issues on a different disorder (and even then still not an excuse, I firmly believe you need to be held accountable for your actions regardless of your mental health status)
