Just like in games such as Katana Zero or Ghostrunner, having no health means that the showdowns with bosses are very short. And in SMBF you only have checkpoints for regular stages, but not for bosses. Still, while this video is short, figuring out how to beat the boss will take some of your time.
Normal stages are much harder compared to bosses, same as in the original Super Meat Boy game. But in the sequel, the stages are randomly generated, apparently. Or at least some elements are.
I know this video is not a challenge, but I don't really want to record anything else. I'm much more interested in playing the upcoming DLC for the Binding of Isaac. But hey, at least I can upload TWO videos in one week! Isn't that great?

Dr. Fetus being a good babysitter is something I didn't know I wanted. Hoping the next game will play with the idea of him softening up more thanks to Nugget (along with returning to the original gameplay style). I also like how he still has their pacifier in the secret ending.

Wow...in a game about violence and fighting, the thing that ended up saving the day was the baby showing the villain who kidnapped her kindness...that is...so unbelievably wholesome. X'D I did not expect that.

My thought process throughout this was feeling bad for the animals. Then having a feeling the brain would help them. Then when I saw the clock I knew a timewarp would happen. When the baby gave the binky (or however you spell it) to Dr. Fetus, I had a feeling he would be happy and then get punched. And finally at the end, when Dr. Fetus held the binky in his hands and smiled, I literally cried. I have never cried to any video game character that much before. Even if it was a squirrel or baby.

I never played or heard of this game at first I thought it was a platformer but with each cutscene I kept getting more attached and I understood and related to whats happening, from the squirrel to the fetus and his new found pacifier Each cutscene made me have the feels even without context and dialogue this hit me in spots most movies, books and other things dont, and I love it.

I think both this and the original Meat Boy are fantastic games! You should totally get the original game if you get the chance since it’s an actual platformer. It’s super old but certainly a lot of fun!
