One really big inaccuracy from Mother 3/Eatthbound has got to be the special moves that Ness and Lucas use. PK Freeze, PK Fire, PK Thunder, PSI Magnet, and PK Starstorm are never learned by Ness and Lucas in their original games. Instead, Ness learns PSI Rockin and PK Flash. Lucas learns PK Love and PK Flash. Paula from Earthbound learns PK Freeze, PK Fire, PSI Magnet, and PK Thunder. Poo from Earthbound learns PK Freeze, PK Thunder, PSI Magnet, and PK Starstorm. Kumatora from Mother 3 learns the some ones as Poo, including PK Fire. Yes, Ness uses PK Flash in smash. The only one that maybe makes sense is that on some trophy in Brawl, it said that Poo taught Ness PK Starstorm before Brawl.

I don't know if you'll see this but I found an inaccuracy in the Inkling Final Smash. The final smash is the killer wail but in the original splatoon game that it comes from, the attack does not use ink, it's a sound so loud it splats you instantly, however not only does it not insta ko in smash (probably because that would be too powerful) but it also covers anyone that survives it in ink which is not something that happens in the original game. The killer wail doesn't use ink at all

Steve’s textures for blocks and items use the new textures, but the ones for the crafting, mining items and lots of other things use the old textures. Half of the grass sides textures on the biomes are old, half are new, and while the zombie alt skin uses the old texture, the one in the stage background uses the new texture. The magma block is larger than all the other blocks, and the tnt is smaller than the others. scottish steve’s pants are not flipped properly, and neither are the bottom textures of any cuboids on the alta using the Steve model. However, the Alex skins are all mapped properly. The panorama for the background of the Minecraft spirit board is just plain cursed. The explosion particles in the house of boom video and that are used for the end of it and in tnt are mismatched. The house of boom was recorded in Bedrock edition while the explosion particles used elsewhere are distinctly modeled after Java’s. Steve holds the steak in a weird way that isn’t the same as he does in minecraft. they could’ve just moved it to be like if does in game instead of removing it to make it less suggestive. Steve, Alex, Zombie, and Enderman each use the Japanese stadium chant even though in English their names are differently pronounced. Mojang is credited as “Mojang AB” although they are now known as Mojang Specifications. Really, you could make a whole video on the inconsistencies in Minecraft alone.

It makes sense, since you do want the door to occupy the space between the wall-blocks, so it has to swing inwards unless you want it raised from the wall. Doors swing outwards in Sweden, since Minecraft doors were originally created in Sweden, it would make sense for them to swing outwards. Smash Bros is built in Japan, which also has outswinging doors, so it makes sense that it ended up like that in the animation, since whoever made it, didn't think of how doors in Minecraft works, but knows how doors normally work.

I think the reason that Pokémon Trainer has his/her render instead of any artwork is that they don’t have any. They look very similar to Red and Green, but they are called “Pokémon Trainer” instead. I think as far as smash is concerned Red and Green and Pokémon Trainer are different characters. Also, I seem to remember that snowy grass used to look like recoloured grass before the textures were changed, so maybe that is why some of the snowy grass looks like that.

Mii Gunner is known as Tirador Mii or Tiradora Mii, depending on the gender. However, the Fighter Select uses the male variant of the name despite the default Gunner being a girl. Inklings specify whether it's a "chica" or "chico" everywhere except the icon on the Fighter Select. Ike is pronounced as "ee-ke", while Snake and Ice Climbers are pronounced normally (except the latter's B is not silent). Some of the pronunciations are different from their Brawl counterparts. For example, the U in Jigglypuff used to be a Spanish U, making the "oo" sound, whereas it's an English U in Ultimate. Brawl refers to the CPU players as "PNJ" (personaje no jugador/character without a player), while 4 and Ultimate just call them "CPU".

Idk if this is technically an inaccuracy, but no matter the stage, Mario's alternate up special (the one with Cappy and purple coins) always uses New Donk City coins, even when it's somewhere like Galaxy (should be Star Bits) or Rainbow Cruise (64-style coins).

In terms of the mario fire thing, its completely accurate, as in mario and Luigi: superstar saga, he learns the firehand technique. Luigi is the inaccurate one, with him only ever learning the thunder hand technique, and still needing a fire flower to use it.

Unsure if it has been mentioned before but the Now or Never! music (orginal ones) in a timed match start at 30 seconds instead of 1 minute (as it starts playing at 1 minute left in Turf War in Splatoon) it triggers me to hear it shortened. They are in the Music Screen for Splatoon (full versions under Sounds and not shortened versions) but they aren't used and yet cut versions exist. There is a full version of the Splatoon 2 Splatfest Now or Never! theme in that one spirit battle for Li'l Judd. Also Split & Splat a Splatoon 1 music doesn't use Now or Never! when every other one that do have it.

The Colliseum is a location seen in lots of Fire Emblem games, with the design based off of its design in lots of different games. And the Castle Seige stage is based on specific scenes from specific games in the series, but from different games from each other. The first part is based on a part in the first game where Marth's castle is under attack, the part inside the castle is mostly based around Ike's games (I don't know exactly which) and the fire cave part doesn't have any real reference that I'm aware of. So with those two, just giving it the series logo is accurate.

Judging by the games that came out around the release of brawl/sm4sh, I'm guessing castle siege is present in archanea (possibly tellius) but coliseum is very likely awakening from the praise sm4sh gave that game alone.

The snowy grass blocks that you mentioned were actually how they looked originally, the graphics were changed to the ones that are used now on 1.14

The reason why the Pokemon Trainers don't have Spirit artwork is because that art you used for example is done by Ken Sugimori. None of his art is used for the Pokemon in the base game, which implies there was a legal reason behind it. Instead, they used the alternative "Dream World/Global Link" artwork for the Pokemon. This changed with the post-release Sword and Shield Spirits, which probably only use Sugimori art because they didn't have anything else to use at the time.

I don't play smash bros but I do play Minecraft, but I noticed in the announcement video that one of the doors on one of the buildings is has a door texture with the top texture of the door is also used as the bottom part of the door texture

In the Minecraft Overworlds, all the background mobs look too small when compared to the buildings and trees. The Zombies, Villagers, and Skeletons look like they are about 1 and a half blocks tall when in reality they are 2 blocks tall. The Birch Forest area has the leaves of the birch trees off colored. They should be as dark as the ones in the skybox. In the Taiga Village, it's the same deal with the leaves of the spruce trees, but there are some old textures from Minecraft that went used in the background and on the main axis of the stage. The spruce logs, spruce fence lamp post and the plank stairs on top of the house use the old/program art textures from before 1.14. The stairs on top of the house are oak when they should be spruce to match the biome. In fact, the house shouldn't be there because no buildings in taiga villages look like that, but plains villages do, so they reused the house from the plains village and changed the textures a bit. The Snowy Tundra's trees finally have the right shade of the leaves though they look brighter probably because of the lighting, again they used old textures here for the spruce fence lamp post, the spruce planks on top of the house, and even the tops of the logs on the house. I don't think the stripped spruce logs use old textures, they might but I just don't see it. Though with the top logs texture, it also uses the same texture for the top of the dark oak logs, as spruce logs are brighter. The magma block in Steve's Up Smash is too big compared to the blocks he places down. This could be due to the hitbox of the attack. Steve's rails seem to use the old textures too. The Diamond Armor Mii Swordfighter Costume uses the old textures for the entire diamond armor set AND the diamond sword it's self, despite having it's new texture in Steve's moveset already. An obvious detail that seemingly nobody has pointed out (about old textures yet again) is Steve himself. He uses the oldest texture of the Human mob that existed back in the Cave Game test and the Java Edition Classic Multiplayer Test. The texture shows Steve having a beard when the beard was removed in the Survival Test of Java Edition Classic. That texture was then updated a bit in Java Edition 1.14 as that version was the release date of the "Texture Update", and the texture with the beard was not used again except in promotional art. This could be because the bearded texture is the most iconic look of Steve, but the texture used in Minecraft today is the correct one.
