1982 Suzuki GS 1100g kan my dad have one one of the first bikes I ever rode I did the same thing as you I did a burnout it does look like a old school Road Glide I would never ever think that Ken number one motorcycle man on it it was awesome now I would call that the grandfather bike Kaplan Cycles God Bless America❤

I had a 79 kawasaki z650sr with the fairing. I topped out at 125mph. I got it in 1995 for $650 with 11.000 miles from the original owner. I miss that bike. It's a good one.

In most countries except the U.S. the four valve head, chain driven version, released in 1980 was known as the GSX1100ET . I don't know why the 'X' was omitted because there were many factory upgrades for this model which deserved a new anacronym, bridging the gap between the old 2 valvers and the oil cooled race rep. GSXRs.

I thought the '82 GS 1100 E Z was the one that edged out the GPZ 1100 for WFSB? My first bike was the EZ and I went down. I knew I should have started smaller, but the seca 750, etc, costs more.

I think you forgot about the 1982 Suzuki GS1100E. It was much sportier than the G model. If i remember correctly the G model is a DOHC 2 valve head but the 1100E was a DOHC with 4 valve head with TSCC which is twin swirl combustion chamber. I owned one brand new.

@@KaplanCycles i dont have to quote magazines. I owned a 79 GS750L. I sold that and bought my Dads 79 GS1000L and I sold that for an 82 GS1100e. I remember those bikes and specs vividly.

Just from memory which is piss poor. A couple dudes I know bought 2 new. One guy sent the engine out to a speed shop I think in california. Super fast back then.

Makes me think of Terry Vance and Byron Hines. Terry was one serious Badass. My Dad and I loved watching him dragrace on tv, back in the day. Gorgeous Bike. Just too big and bulky for my taste. Not sure if I read the odometer incorrectly or not, when your camera showed it, but I could have sworn that I saw it reading that the bike only had a little over 1k, regarding miles on it??

The speedometer was replaced so we don't really know the actual mileage
