I only discovered Kurt Elling's music in the last 18 months or so since I started listening to Jazz FM in the UK. Now I can't get enough of him and can't imagine not having his music around.

I have never ever seen/heard such an amazing hybrid bass/guitar player in my life. Playing bass like this would be a challenge for many, but playing bass and guitar at the same time with such precision and feel is unreal. And yes, Kurt is incredible too, as always.

That’s Charlie Hunter. He plays a hybrid guitar that covers the bass and guitar parts simultaneously. Immensely talented musician.
