When literally half of your highlights is pit stops, I reckon you’ve got a problem

B O R I N G Not really a race recap but a Pitstop recap.

I love watching those pit stops. There was also a little bit of racing shown.

While the racing wasn't the most exciting, I really enjoyed the cars moving around a lot more on the hard tyre. Fingers crossed we see it used for the 1000 in October!

So here’s an idea: use the old Ford and Holdens from different years - allow teams to rebuild engines and gearboxes etc and just race them against each other. I just don’t have any emotions invested in Mustangs and Camaros. I’ve been largely obsessed with Aussie car racing since the 70s as a kid when my uncle lived on Conrod Straight - and went to Bathurst so often back in the day.

Wheres the bloody racing. Nearly the whole video was focusing on Red Bull pit stops???

Is the "more raceable Gen3 compared to the too aerodynamic Gen2" in the room with us right now?

When your highlights are all pitstops, you know your series is in trouble They're only short races, do they need pitstops? Doesn't hurt Btcc not having them, and the racing there is always good

This was better than Saturday but it was still prity boring, i think we will see alot of redbull cars on the podiums this season

They redeemed the blunder of yesterday but I would still be mad as hell that I could be 2 for 2 this weekend if my team didn't prioritize my "Golden Boy" teammate.

Bit perplexed how the guy who, is a better driver, took the lead by 1.5s after a great start ends up losing by 2 seconds.

Such an abysmal start to the 2024 Repco V8 Supercars Championship season. The V8 Supercars opener should've been held back at Adelaide.

I'd love to watch, but 100 $ a year is bold. I am sure that more motorsport fans across the world think like me and that you are not doing yourself a favor with this pricing policy. These cars need a 10,000rpm limiter, 14:1 compression ratio and 5 litres displacement. Allow titanium valves and conrods and ITB port fuel injection. Imagine the speed and sound of these engines. Also, minimum weight 1000kgs a 6 speed H-pattern Holinger gearbox

I laughed so hard!!!!!!! Look at the LACK of crowds at the circuit. NO ONE EVEN TURNED up for the Mustang V Camaro USA tussle. Aahahahahahahaha This formula is so gone. Back to early 80's guys and more standard spec road cars AND simultaneous multiple classes on the Mountain. Oh this is so over it's pathetic. BTCC is WAY better than this!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now I’m confused - is it the same race just split between 2 days? 500-> 250 on each day? Or is it two separate races both at 500?

Can anyone explain why the RB team has the last pit box? Why wouldn't you want the 1st box in the lane so you lose less time when pitting?

Supercars is supposed to be all action, I mean that's basically its selling point. But literally nothing happened in this race..... Shame......

I have been a fan of this Series my whole life, Family is from Bathurst so make the effort to attend all the Races I am 30 Years old and I've attended 27 Bathurst 1000 events. I would Dedicate weekends to sit and watch from Practice 1 right through even when not at the event itself would have the snacks and watch it all on the TV. Unfortunately after attending on the weekend and attending last year at NSW Rounds I said to myself give it a chance might grow on you next year but nope Gen3 era already is the most dull and boring Supercars ever. These cars to watch trackside are dull. Dull engine sounds from a much quieter exhaust system compared to previous Gen car and not only that they sound no where near as good as the last cars. I truly miss the Previous Gen car especially after watching them trackside in Dunlop Series at Bathurst much better styling much better drivability and sounded 1000x better. Before Gen3 you had teams doing different things beneath the bodywork that made them Individual now they are all the same we don't see the DJR cars lifting front wheels through corners or T8 Cars squatting off of corners to gain Traction its just all the same and a driver who left warned this would happen by making everything controlled. I know there wasn't much Racing on the weekend :( but I am so glad we still have the Good Supercars in Dunlop Series because Gen3 in all that it was hyped up to be has fell on its face. Already missing the good days from early 2000s to 2022 I'm glad I was able to grow up in the era I did.

What happened to Supercar? Are they back in the 1990's? Guys on pit road with no helmets , and obviously boring racing. Now I understand why alot of these guys want to race NASCAR. The crowd sems to be smaller than I have seen??

Sorry but the "racing" is getting boring. Pit stops galore. Two types of cars racing, gee who will win Camaro or Mustang. Mmmm such a diverse group. I might be old but there is nothing to compare with the old Bathurst races when you really had a race and all cars on the track. This was entertainment

Someone needs to tell me that this isn't THE bathurst. It's just another 500km supporting race sort of thing... at Bathurst... because I was totally clueless as to why no one was there watching it and also why I hadn't herd of it until today. A bit disappointing no one died.. kinda boring..

Yawn. The Dunlop series had faster lap times. The cars in the main game are slower, wtf.

With my hand on the bible, when Brown and Mostert came in for the last fuel and tyres i said to my son, i bet mostert right wheel will give them grif due to the heat issues and sure enough Browns team put in less fuel and got out before mostertand about 2 seconds advantage to chevy and won the race in the end, because of timing and issues with mosets team with the right front tyre. Thats racing right. Go chevy. 🦘🦘✌✌👍👍
