Monster Energy Supercross

4 жыл бұрын

Watch the final race as Zach Osborne (250) and Ryan Dungey (450) become the 2017 Champions!
Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is the most competitive and highest-profile off-road motorcycle racing championship on the planet. Over 17 weeks between January through May and a million-dollar All-Star Race, Supercross attracts some of the largest and most impressive crowds inside the most recognizable and prestigious stadiums in North America to race in front of nearly one million live fans and broadcast to millions more worldwide. The track takes all the exciting obstacles of outdoor riding-jumps, turns, and bumps-amplifies them, and puts them in easy view of spectators.
Founded in America and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) in 1974, Supercross is currently co-sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the official global governing body for motorcycle racing, thus making it a formal World Championship.

It blows my mind that Ralph Sheheen, Emig, and Carmichael had no idea what Tomac was doing during this race. Tomac completely controlled this race by slowing down the entire field of riders so that he would have a chance of making Dungey finish 5th while he won. It almost worked if not for Anderson taking Reed out on the last lap. Smartest thing Tomac could have done to win the championship. Ralph, Emig, Carmichael had no clue.

In the 250cc class, I could not believe Savatgy tipped over the way he did. He was two turns away from making me look like a genius because he was my pick for the 250cc East Supercross title, and he just kept crashing. I fully admit that I have not seen wishy-washy riding like that since maybe James Stewart was a 125cc rookie in 2002. In the 450cc class, I was REALLY thinking this was one race that Chad Reed could have won, and if it wasn't for Jason Anderson's cheap shot, Reed WOULD have won this race. Then again, I scratched my head to why Chad went wide the way he did.

@@noahashton3252 I disagree. Anderson was the one with the cheap shots, period.

MathewV21688 dats 🧢. reed with stewart and ricky backin the day and until today, has always been "rubbin racing" but as soon as someone does it to him, he calls it dirty lol. its such a joke

@@noahashton3252 Not a lot of people liked Anderson's move after the fact, but I was scratching my head why Reed went wide in the first place.

It could have something to do with Anderson not wanting Reed to pull anything dirty on Dungey. Reed purposely holding up Dungey as a lapper was still fresh in everyone's mind cause that potentially cost Dungey a win. I remember it not sitting well with everyone at the Baker's farm. Couple that with Reed passing him really close the turn before and Anderson only had one thing in mind in that next corner. I didn't feel bad for Reed though since he has always been willing to take someone out and because holding up someone as a lapper is disgraceful.

“Cheap shots” says Dungey. While KTM orders Musquin to “let dungey by” on the pit board. Those two points were crucial. Hence why Tomac played chess with dungey that entire Moto.

Joey just set himself up for it. He should’ve seen that coming from a mile away. I know I was expecting it to happen if Joey went into that corner the way he did.🤦🏼‍♂️

So there’s no such thing as too aggressive apparently but if I’m Savagty I’m giving Osborn the hands in the pits after the cameras leave.

It's the same thing the AMA did to Damon Bradshaw when he won more races then Jeff Stanton when Damon won more races it's happened too several other's, its a conspiracy.
