I like the “Wally noped the hell out” version. Two reasons. His cautious and lazy nature wouldn’t give up a sure thing for a “possible” prize. Two, gives me a warm feeling that at least one employee gave Drew the DMF (double middle finger) to Drew’s offer.

Did Wally ever work for Gent though? It's pretty clear the guy's simply a janitor, it's mentioned a lot how he has to clean and acording to his letter to Joey, he has a cleaning service. The only thing that could be interpreted as Wally working at Gent was that audio with Thomas, but he could just be lecturing Wally on something important. After all, the way he answers to him isn't something you would say to your boss. He also says he doesn't want to do his job AND his, which implies Wally main responsability is to clean the place.

If Wally Franks really did get out of the studio, then maybe there will be a DLC for him. I'm kind of sticking with both of their is that Wally Franks did leave, and that he did get turned into Boris.

Maybe...wally and tom were invited back to work on the finishing touches for the ink machine, and Allison came with Tom because she was married to him and they all got tricked?

I can't remember where, but I saw a theory that explained both Wally being a Boris as well as explaining Allison and Tom, while all three are actually free from the studio. Basically, there's two separate groups of Studio Workers here; those who were sacrificed/have a coffin, and those who don't. As seen throughout the game, when killed, Norman, Susie/Alice, and Bertrum's corpses stick around after death, whereas Searchers, Lost Ones, Bendy, and our Boris melt away back into the ink. (This is also implied to be able to happen to Allison and Tom, though we never see it.) There's a link here. The (important) people who melt away are the ones who escaped the studio, shown by the letters in Joey's apartment. The ones who have a canon coffin and were sacrificed stick around after death. The reason the first group melts is because Joey never got their souls to put in the story, thus they're only made of ink. Allison can't remember who she was before she came to be, Boris and Tom can't speak, etc. The ones who persist, they have a soul infused with their ink, retaining more personality than the ink-only group.

Maybe joey drew had a closing party just to get everybody back and then turned them into cartoons just so he could get revenge on henry

Here's the simple reason why I say Wally isn't Boris and why he never died in the studio. In the end, at Joey Drew's house, we see some letters from some of the old workers we've heard before, and here's the pattern with those that I picked up. All the people who we see letters from are people who we never saw die or dead in the game. All those coffins had the names of people we never saw letters from, and since we see Sammy Lawrence die before the end of the game, we also see no letter from him, meaning he died at some point in the real world, simply before Joey or Henry died. Alice and Tom don't die by the end of the game either, and so we see a letter from them in the end. Another thing I have to mention is that when simple soulless ink creatures die, they turn back into ink, leaving no corpse. Boris does this. The butcher gang does this. Alice Angel does not do this, as seen in the end of chapter 4, back when you could see the end teaser screen, we could see that Alice Angel never turned back into ink. And neither did Norman Polk whenever he died. His body never turned into ink, but he did die, therefore we see no letter from him in Joey's house. There are possible holes in this point, though, since Sammy turns into ink the same way Boris did, plus the fact that all the dissected Boris and butcher gang clones never turned back into ink. But I still stand strong with my first argument. We only see letters from people who were not confirmed dead by the end of the game, therefore Wally Franks survived, and since we've seen almost all of the studio with no sign of him, it is most likely that he escaped before things got too bad. One more quick thing. The clones that didn't use a soul to be made only ever had characteristics of those characters, but characters that were brought to life using living bodies do show traits of that person, and since our Boris was but a simple Boris, we can deduce that There is Wally Frank in him to speak of.

9:22 I just happened to notice that Allison ends her letter with "I'll send you another recipe soon." so Joey was asking for a recipe of some kind and I think he used this recipe to make a food to lure Wally back to the studio.

Here's what I think happened, Wally Franks was the studio's janitor and when Gent came into the picture, started to work alongside Thomas Connor. Maybe he was in charge of maintaining the Ink Machine while Tom did whatever he could to meet Joey's expectations, but one day he stole a chocolate cake and got fired from the studio. Then he either lived a happy life in Florida, and/or was later lured back to the studio and became a test subject for the making of the Boris clones, possibly after Tom, since his serious expression and robotic arm suggest he was a near-success in making Boris and the Boris in Chapter 3 looks more like a successful final product. I think Wally may have ended up as Boris after all, but it is kind of unconfirmed. If anyone has any other questions about this game, I'd love to share my ideas.

Actually, in the canon novel Dreams Come to Life, Boris the wolf that helped Henry in Chapter 3 was actually a young boy named Daniel 'Buddy' Lewek (hints the name Buddy Boris). He was killed by the ink demon and drown in the ink before being reincarnated into Boris. Joey discovers him and planned to seal him away but he escaped and found his own safehouse. So it is confirmed that Wally Franks got out alive and at the bottom of the letter he sent to Joey, it appeared that he started a business of his own. So, he was one of the lucky ones.

Honestly, I think he did make it out of there. If you're looking at it from the perspective of a writer telling a story, Wally Franks' penultimate if not anticlimactic escape is the perfect comedic send off for the character. He's always said, every little weird thing was just one straw from him getting out of there, then the one time he does get out you think he'll come back in? Nah, Wally is just doing what grand-pappies do and chilling like a chad in Florida, everybody else was a sucker to come back, but not Wally, he was just a janitor who barely tolerated the place, he ain't got no grit or reason to come back.

I love your theory videos, I personally also think that Buddy from Dreams come to Life is Buddy. As Audrey, the most likely person who writes the messages that you see through the looking Glass refers to him as Buddy, she might have met him when she was working there and knows he is Buddy, and Wally Franks got away and far away from the studio, how about this mini thoery? It's one big loop, coffins, everyone's dead. Pentagram shapes all over, everyone is suffering in their own personal ways, whatever their deception was. Susie beauty etc...At the end uncle Joey was telling the story, apparently Henry's daughter. Joey made out while everyone else suffers....what a sad story...

Since we don't see his coffin in the archives, buddy Boris probably is an ink copy of Wally just like Tom and Allison in BATIM and Henry and Joey in BATDR, but, Joey actually lies to Audrey. It's obvious that Allison Angel is Allison Pendle, Henry in BATDR is the real Henry and Joey in BATDR is the real Joey. But what about the letters and the coffins in BATIM? Well, I think that BATIM and BATDR are just book stories. BATIM was written by Joey Drew and BATDR was written by Audrey. So it makes sense that in the real world, Wally, Tom and Allison are living their lives and the other (including Henry) were killed by Joey. 3 things in chapter 5 of BATIM that proves this a lot is the secret newspaper: "Local artist pushed himself too hard. Found dead at desk." Joey says to Henry that he was always good of pushing himself, but didn't pushed too much and Henry is an artist. If the cycle was real, then it wouldn't make sense of Henry died of pushing himself too hard. Now in the ending of chapter 1 and in Tombstone Picnic, it's confirmed that Joey was dying and transformed himself into the ink demon. Now, that doesn't make sense because the ink demon isn't Joey. But what if he represents Joey? And why didn't Joey transformed himself into an ink monster? Because the cycle isn't real. It's just a story invented by Joey. Now the last piece of evidence is in both endings of the 2 Bendy games. In BATIM, a little girl tells her father who's Joey Drew to read another story. In the end of BATDR, Audrey now is taking care of the book: The illusion of living, but what if that represented that Audrey, after Wilson reveals the truth about her father, now takes care of the story AKA the cycle.

I think Wally, Allison and Thomas weren't in the studio at the time. Because if we think about it, the characters with souls wouldn't dissolve into ink. Example: Norman Polk, and Susie. When they are killed, they don't melt. They stay in their form. But with Allison and Thomas, if you recall near the end of Chapter 5, Allison said "A drop of water in an ocean is rarely seen again", meaning they didn't have the soul. And with Wally, when he is defeated, he dissolves. So I personally think they all escaped

I always figured something was different about the first Boris despite being a deceitful cartoon being. He did have his way with tools. One could also argue that he was reborn from the dead Boris in Ch1 which kinda explains the bone, the toolbox and thd wrench being all in the same place. It additionally contradicts his "I'm outta here!" thing 'cause if no-one else escaped, why would he? I wonder if there's evidence as to how Joey lured them back. He could've sent them a similar letter to Henry's but in Susie's log in Ch4, she spoke of an "opportunity" Joey had for her (secretly being his plan to make her into Alice Angel). Maybe he told Tom and Allison the same thing. I dunno this stuff just really intrigues me

The whole game was just a story Joey Drew told to Henry's daughter ( I think ) and it's a story about his crooked empire. Why else would the door to the studio come from the kitchen and a voice at the end say, "Tell me another one uncle Joey."? All evidence points to Wally as boris, Susie cambell as alice, and Allison and Tom as, well Allison Angel and Tom. Watch Game theory if you don't believe me.
