I would say the Daytona style seats are the fancy wrapped leather and the full recaro is the foam and seat frame that leather is wrapping.

$180k for a 458... wow it's an insane thought that I actually have the money to buy my dream car. But then I'd have nothing left to buy a house, etc... They say cars are expensive toys that are a waste of money. They can also be aspirations for people to work harder for.

AFS is the adaptive headlights but of interest it also means you have the lift system option b/c you cannot have one without the other. Many 458 were purchased without the lift/AFS.

I just bought a 458 flying out to the east cost tomorrow to sign the paper work, it’s also certified. After all those option you read out,I can’t believe it doesn’t have the Carbon digital wheel.

Incredible how well the 458 aged, its nearly 10 years old now but would still go trough as a current model. When it was launched and they had these fire issues, I was a bit worried tho.

I love the 458! What a gorgeous automobile. Maybe I'm showing my age, but one of my all time favorites is the 288 GTO, then came the 360 but the 458 is even more sexy. Mmm I still remember sitting in a 288 and 512 at the dealership. Strange thing is, it was in Springfield Missouri where I went to college. Strange because it's a relatively small (third biggest in Missouri) farm/college town. I think it was there because it was a nice central US location to make deals with out-of-state buyers.

From what Ive read the Recaro seat option is only the back part of the seat the Daytona will be the bottom seat still

Each time I see a Ferrari like this (or other brand) with options this outrageous it reminds me how I would get 1-2 options max (if any) if I were ever buying one new.

I don't know about in the US, but in the UK 458s are starting to appreciate abit now

The Daytona seat option is essentially just a leather pattern, so the distinction of charging extra for Recaro seats is simply that the bolstering is more dramatic. I think that's it, anyway...
